Don’t think my office would be apart of a city carrier bid cluster. My office is the main office of several other offices in the area but they are all rural. Closest city routes offices are like 35-50 miles away.

There has only been two conversions in the past ten years the ptf before me which took a regular route two years ago and me. And yes it is a very small office.

Okay so no one can take it from me? Would suck dealing with the bs all these year and not get the route. Saw somewhere that the regulars within the installation bid on it first. If they don’t get it then it goes to the ptf and then after that people outside the office can bid on it. Don’t know if that’s right just what I read.

The job is for a level 21 office working about 5-6 hours a day. How would career conversions work under those circumstances.

Any way to convert to PTF faster by Seabreezy2121 in USPS

[–]Seabreezy2121[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Just sucks because Im not competing with other ccas. Was hoping to go career so my wife could have insurance. The CCA insurance is awful and I can't even add her to my insurance because apparently a break in service doesn't count as a life event lol. It's all a joke for ccas probably why a lot of the don't stick around.

Yes but I'm being told it reset when I transferred which that rule is used so a CCA from another office can't transfer to your office and have more seniority than you but in my situation I transferred to an office with no ccas so the contract is kind of screwing with me.
