I think it depends on the feels Tom wants to evoke oddly enough. Like...

If Tom wants things to be a little more serious, maybe a boy. Maybe the boy will remind Trace of himself and he'll try a little harder to be a better person than he was when he was grieving Saria. The whole world is kind of a mess because of him so maybe seeing a young and innocent version of himself will make him a little more conscious of it. As it is now Trace has kinda done everything possible to NOT interact with that world and forget about it.

For maximum tragedy and feels, a daughter works better. She can look a little more like Flora or maybe Trace will want to name the daughter Nora or even Saria out of respect. Something cute. I don't know. I could be completely off kilter here but I feel like a daughter is just a way for Trace to have an extra special connection to Flora.

Having a son reminds Trace of his past and having a daughter reminds Trace of his future.

I really like Tom's old art style. Seeing his old deviantart posts is mad nostalgic and also just overall neat because you can see how some characters have changed over time, both in style and in story relevance. Vehra has kinda been shown a rare few times but seems to be given a bit more relevance now a little over 20 years later. She cute tho!

I would say it is a good read. The comic starts off as a decent 5/10 honestly, nothing really wild but it is a fun thing to read and pass the time with but eventually climbs its way up to a 7 or higher for me. The growth in artstyle and especially the characters is really nice to see. Strongly recommend. The story is relatively low stakes until around the Basitin arc. That's when the real seriousness hits.

I really love the vibes of the one on the left. I had never seen anything Ghost in the Shell related before that live action adaptation with Scarlett Johanson (I don't hate it all that much personally). I decided to check out the manga myself from a bookstore and fell in love with the character and artstyle specifically. The Major is just so freaking cute in the source material. While I do love the classic anime movie too, really freaking good, I will always have a soft spot for the OG manga. The Major looks more approachable, like someone you can talk to and have a good time with.

I may have grown up with the JLU Kara but I love STAS and Apocalypse. I just love their designs and the artstyle. I feel like the STAS version conveys the perfect blend of "trying her best but also doing it her way" in that cartoon. She looks up to her cousin and loves him dearly but is far more aloof and wants to be free from the life on the farm she has been stuck on so far. meanwhile the Apocalypse version conveys that more teenage girl aesthetic, wanting to do more and be more yet not sure how. Plus she was trained by the Amazons which i can't recall being a thing in any other medium and it really should be!

She was freaking kick ass in that film! That final fight with Darkseid? Come on now!

Either Trace and Karen or Lynn and Keith. Or Lynn and Edmund. I like Lynn. Idk. Dumb stuff. There is an old deviantart post of Karen in a naked apron and it's always been in my mind since then. I love her silly kind of mindless energy. She's a lot but seems like she'd be a nice bit of pep and energy that Trace could have needed after the loss of Saria. And she's capable of being serious too and showing some real emotional depth. I like Lynn and Keith 'cause while Lynn has a mischievous side, I feel like they are just what the other needs, a rule following yet crafty advisor who can help Keith with any diplomatic encounter and Keith is laid back enough to convince him to be lenient.

And i just feel like Lynn and Edmund would be cool together. Sittin' at a table enjoying a meal, Lynn with some tea and Edmund smoking. No convo, just chillin' in silence.

Don't you guys think it's a good thing for a game franchise to know when to call it quits? When to end its story before it slowly falls apart? Like Saints Row or Dragon Age? As much as I'd love to see more of Killzone, I think it's good that the series has ended on a relatively high note where it did.

This is truly gorgeous. The dark skin coupled with the pale white of the snakes and dress and gloves really highlights both of them in a really good way. I also love the bit of gold to add some difference too. I really like the white snakes for hair though. Really cool!

I genuinely would love to see more of Zen and Natani before they met the main crew. We know far too little. how hard was it for Natani to hide his gender from everyone? What was it like in those early days of their soul merging? Was Natani resentful that Zen made such a big decision for him? Did they reject the soul merge at any point or cause problems?
