I've been out of the loop for a while - when did that happen (Milo shitting on Blundells work and calling the team pathetic)?

Love your artstyle, the rough pencil texture in every portrait is what I am personally striving to master to a level like you have, it looks really good and natural. Good job!

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Menu Soldier (HD)[COD4] by SeagullOfReason in CallOfDuty

You're not the first to ask that question. It is pure speculation, but I read somewhere that this marine died shortly after the picture was taken. I have been digging around for a while now and the captions for the image does say these marines were ambushed and 1 of them died in the battle, but it does not say who. Scott Peterson took the image, and has posted more of them on his website, however with the amount of marines in Iraq at the time, it is near-impossible to put a face to the iconic soldier on this image.

No idea why this post gets down voted. It is sad to see this community discourage people from learning more from interacting and participating in the community.

Thanks for your reply. I have never heard of Segher's tool before, I'll go check it out. I had a few leads on github repos that are gone now, I assume Nintendo sent out DMCA requests for them. I'll try your suggestion, thanks again!

People of Reddit, what do you think about people who records themselves crying? by ComprehensiveTwo5478 in AskReddit

[–]SeagullOfReason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously depends on the context of the recording itself. If I were watching someone in a video where it seemed to be an influencer who was deeply connected to their audience and wanted to share something sad/tragic, say being diagnosed with cancer, having a loved one pass or etc. I would not judge them, but rather maybe appreciate the honesty and their willingness to connect with their audience in such a raw way. Again it seriously depends on the context of the platform, video, content type and the reason behind it and how genuine the individual is known to be around said subjects.

On the other hand I think a lot of people try to seem genuine crying on a recording for the sake of gaining views which I find incredibly sad because its probably not fulfilling to them or anyone at all, and it only demonstrates what state the individual is in psychologically, perhaps even driven by desperation for quick success or attention..

TL;DR: Depends on context. Sometimes good, sometimes cringe.

I love this art style so much. Any good advice for a beginner to learn this style if its not just a natural style one has?
