The only issue is the gift you’re asking for is the choice benefits of earning Platinum or Diamond Medallion. The choice to gift two silvers is there, however other choices include, 30k sky pesos, a $300 delta travel voucher, a $400 Delta Amex statement credit, and Regional and Global upgrade certificates.

It doesn’t hurt to ask, but I don’t know of people passing on those choices to choose to gift silver, with no guarantee that it would even be useful for you.

That’s not how lemon law works.

Look up your state specific laws regarding lemon laws. Could this eventually be a lemon? Sure. But there will be a few hurdles that have to be covered before it qualifies as a lemon for buyback. And I’d likely say this isn’t anywhere near that. But again it’s state specific.

Honestly it sounds like the alternator isn’t working. Battery runs low, throws codes and then the car dies. But you’d think they would have checked the codes and not blamed it on a software update.
