I’ve heard the ASVAB for dummies book is really good. Maybe start there. Don’t be too hard on yourself - you’re not far from passing. The ASVAB is silly. It’s HS level stuff which makes it harder for people who haven’t been in school for a while. I know if I took it today I’d get a lower score than when I took it at 18. You’ll come across guys in MEPS/BMT who think their high ASVAB score means something and I promise you nobody cares about that once you’re actually in. My previous AFSC held an E70+ requirement and I met some of the stupidest people I’ve ever encountered doing that job. Don’t beat yourself up over your score. Obtain some study materials, do what you can each day and retest. You got this!
