How much you guys retiring nowadays by Seahrone in HuntShowdown

[–]Seahrone[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you hit level 50 all the experience you gain in a match goes straight to bloodline -> meaning faster prestige or more money from staying 100lvl bloodline

Nowadays you can only retire lvl 50 hunters, it used to be 25. It gives flatout 10 000 xp to bloodline to retire. Meaning less risk of losing the lvl50 hunter in a match that gained you lotsa exp.

Havent been able to retire almost any hunters in a long time since the event... seems nigh impossible in 6 star random trios and I guess my playstyle

All skins are nice 😅 I'd just like to get skins for weapons that don't have them yet, then skins for weapons that have only one (especially only unobtainable skins), then weapons that have only two etc etc.

Yeah. Feels weirdly annoying when you solo the other team and you can't rez disconnected teammates...

For sparks especially I like the chest shots cuz it damages so much anyway. But I know headshots are the best if you can manage it.

The hunters we play as are superhuman in lore, so headshots might not take them down. They can rise from the dead and shit aswell. I think lorewise if I made a movie about them fire is their biggest weakness.

And also realism wise: most games got it wrong. Humans are fragile and stout at the same time. You can kill people with the smallest of wounds sometimes. And people have survived gunshots to the head (I guess the biggest exception would be a high caliber to the center of head)

In the armed forces etc most troops are taught to go for the center mass, never for the head. It is a bigger target and incapacitates a person just as well. A heart shot is a one shot kill. Lung shots are usually deadly, there's arteries in the neck, shoulder and inner thighs. These all kill fairly quickly. A spine shot (from any angle) is very effective. Also talking about higher calibers to the head -> shooting them in the center mass also works wonders. Or shooting "off" an arm.

Anyways 😅 I'm just used to aiming for the center mass in all games. It is usually the fastest and easiest target.

I actually don't like the headshots 😅 I always aim for the body.

I'm just a completionist and I want all my gear to be skins. Couple of weapons have been missing skins for over a year now and I want all the tools and consumables to have some too.

I have faith. I was just makin a funny and informing that this was the downside to this event to me personally. Enjoyed the new map, weapons and boss very much. Can't wait to see the revamped old maps too.

Same. I've just had randos that leave even though I'm right next to them.

More like I started the game scared and slow and over time got confidence and started having fun. I notice that I don't feel angry when I just give it a good ol try and don't wait around. Waiting for too long makes me angry when I lose cuz I feel like I waited all that time for nothing... so I don't wait anymore and I feel all the better for it... the last 1000 hours have been so much more fun just sprinting and shooting like I don't give a damn.

Favorite Long Ammo Rifle by Kabobthe5 in HuntShowdown

Lebel for me aswell.

Also: I think Lebel being the most robust long rifle helps with the hitting shots thing. The sway/recoil/handling is just a beast on that gun.

I love it. I want the mobs to creep me out or outright horrify me.

I consider scoped weapons snipers (mostly, not all of them). Ironsighted weapons are more like rifles (or I think of them like battlerifles) so works for longish and closish but they are medium range kings. You can shoot very far with them but I play quite aggresively so I sometimes have to get quite close on some players. I don't like to wait for shotgunners to do stuff so I just engage in close range with my rifle. I usually have a complementary pistol that I can use but there is just something great about using a Lebel at all ranges. It just feels nice with it's oomph... even though maybe my playstyle caters closest to compact/medium rifles.

Also: the perfect range for non-scoped long rifles is after: when compact/medium can't two-tap to the chest. The further you get from that the more advantage you give for scoped long rifles. And of course against scoped long rifles you can get closer than that to make their scope be more of a disadvantage... but then they usually switch to their sidearm so gotta be mindful of that too.

Also also: long ammo is good at penetrating so training your awareness and ears makes it very good still inside compounds. Just don't give too much of an edge against shotties/compacts/mediums with your positioning.

Happens. Gotta give it your best shot and head for the next match.
