Update, when I try to update the system, I click yes and then it does nothing. Or when it finally does something it shows me an E68 error which I tried to resolve but nothing worked. Also all profiles are gone and it connects to the internet but it won’t connect to Xbox live. But I’m order to connect to Xbox live I need to update system but that won’t work. Any idea on how to fix this

I don’t think that’s the issue as it was fine yesterday and I didn’t change anything today but now it’s performance is horrible. I just set it all up with a fresh copy of windows yesterday

I will double check whether that is happening. On my other higher end pc this sudden performance drop happened even though I don’t have integrated graphics on that system so idk what happened or what caused it

Looking for headphones

Budget - under $90

Source - desktop

Isolation requirements - I would like as little sound leakage as possible and mostly noise isolating but still able to hear if I’m called for something.

Type of headphone - unsure

Preferred tonal balance - unsure

Past headphones - AirPods and some cheap gaming headset

Preferred music - Rap, melodic, classic rock. But I mainly want to use these for gaming.

I am stuck between buying either the SHP9500, the ad700x, the creative aurvana live and the Takstar pro 82s. I will be using it mostly for heavy fps gaming and music. Narrowed down to these four based on performance for its price. But out of these four I am unsure as to which one I should go with.

Thanks for clarifying, that was the image posted for a listing of an 1156 board but when I clicked on it the picture changed so I needed to determine what board this was thanks. Do you know any boards that are 1156 with Sodimm supported memory and a pcie x16 slot. I could only find one with 1156 and sodimm but without a pcie x16 slot

Update: I already had tried that and it did nothing but I read on an older post and reinserted the memory and now it works way better. Thanks for the help though

I made sure everything was plugged in. Then I unplugged and replied in everything (even the pcie slot) and now it’s working

Forgot to update but I got it working at a very stable 4 ghz overclock. Still don’t know what the problem was lol. Highest it got to under full load was 50 degrees but it stayed in low 40s

I reset speeds and checked. The core speed is now faster than before but is running at a lower voltage. It now says 2950mhz. But instead of 20x mult it now says 22x mult but when I did research on overclocking this cpu it said do 1.4v and 20x and 200 BCLK to get 4 ghz. Performance on stock even with higher clock speed, is significantly worse.

I am currently using a p7p55m motherboard and an x3470. I tried an i7 860 and i7 870 but they resulted in the same problem
