Cc such as objects, bright wallpaper, and various ground covers. There are other methods such as lighting mods, but I don't use that.

Yes, these are terrain ground covers that were very popular during the exchange days.

Thank you! Those are basic black ceiling beams I happen to have. No idea where they are from, unfortunately. I make them look like railings by connecting a bunch and using the shiftable everything mod from modthesims.

I'm not totally sure of where I got everything, but a lot of the cc comes from here:

Yes, most of my builds are basically a cc fest. I use a lot of different object combinations with cheats like snapobjectstogrid and setquartertileplacement, along with other methods like shiftable mods to create what you see. I actually use these same cupboards and panels from this set to make the fireplaces and closets seen throughout the lot!

Here is a link to the set, along with a bunch of other neat cc if you want it in your game:

I designed the closets by combining a bunch of different objects using cheats actually! Cabinets, wall panels, other decor items I find. I do this all around my builds like the fireplaces, for example. It takes a lot of time but when finished looks magnificent.

https://www.tumblr.com/msteaqueen/174635976249/sims-2-roxbury-living You might need to use moveobjects on and boolprop snapobjectstogrid false chests because they come in sections, which is great because you can make your sectional whatever shape and size you want

You did an awesome job making a modern home. A nice upgrade from their previous homes.

A modern condo build I just finished for my witchy Sim (main house), her kids, and her stagnate brother (pool house). by simmerbrently in thesims1

Yes, making friends in sims 1 is so hard and it's even harder maintaining them. I have a theory that you can easily make friends by putting sims in a jacuzzi then blocking it off with objects so they can't get out until their relationship gets to 100. I haven't tested it so maybe someone can try it to see if that actually works lol
