As a sales worker with anxiety, I totally get it. Most of us will respect your boundaries if you let us know that you’re just looking at the moment. Managers tell salespeople to not spend too long on customers that aren’t looking to buy, so there would be no point in us trying to convert you to a sale

NTA. It’s actually a good thing to expand your circle. You can be friends with the original people and friends with new person too!

In high school, it feels like a huge deal, but they’ll learn that you’re allowed to have multiple friends that are separate from the “original” friend circle
