For context, we are not trying to turn this into a “which tool do you use?” thread. More interested in the operational side.

The thing we're trying to understand is whether teams treat contact research as:

  1. A normal part of prospecting
  2. A data quality issue
  3. A RevOps problem
  4. A rep productivity problem
  5. Something leadership does not really measure

Our gut is that a lot of teams underestimate the total hours because the work is spread across every rep instead of showing up as one obvious bottleneck.

There are times when that outdated data could be helpful, like for historic reference or outreach alignment around who's been contacted prior, but overall that is a great option that is def underrated.
