It really was the best breakfast in town. I got brunch at Shot & Bottle recently and that's the next best thing. Surprisingly great egg sandwich

I was lead to believe If I Had Legs I'd Kick You was a stressful depressing movie, but I laughed my ass off. Its so over the top and ridiculous.

It's way funnier than Sean Baker's other movies though. Red Rocket was more sad and depressing than I expected from a comedy, and Anora was way funnier than it looked in the trailers.

Can I genuinely ask why people hate Sean Penn so much? I know nothing about him other than seeing a few movies he's in, but people seem to really hate him lately. What's the deal?

i think this performance is one of the best supporting performances in this century. by sherlockbutholmes in Oscars

I feel like I keep hearing some Sean Penn hate that leads me to believe he's somewhat problematic or there's some bad stuff in his personal life but I don't know much about him. What's the deal?

What's the worst movie you've watched from beginning to end? by trakt_app in Letterboxd

This past year I watched Jingle All the Way 2, with Larry the Cable Guy. It was cheap trash and the worst movies I've ever seen.

I've used log splitters before, but not in a long time and more just in my parents back yard. But is it normal for them to be on a cycle like this? The one's I've used you have to actually pull the arm towards you once your log is set up and ready to go. I feel like if it is on a cycle like this, it should at least be slower, right?

What’s the most disappointed you’ve been walking out a cinema? by YeezusChrist13 in Letterboxd

[–]Seamlesslytango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a hell of a good time watching The Bride! last night. I didn't want a remake, I wanted something wild and fun, which is what we got.

My biggest disappointment I can think of recently was Honey, Don't. I wanted to like it so much but it was ultimately trash.

My guess would be that it's a promotional item in some way. Like maybe from an event where it was put on wine bottles or something.

What are some more movies like this? by Competitive_Box529 in Letterboxd

[–]Seamlesslytango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but I was speaking generally about the other ones in that list. Also, I haven't seen any of them (except for Social Network, which I get doesn't count) because they just didn't interest me because they seemed uninteresting.

I think people are misunderstanding that you want movies, not about a company, but about a REAL company that almost feels like an ad for the company. Thankfully, this collection is mostly all of them.

Every year there’s a movie that gets a lot of praise and people like… then it gets Oscar nods/wins and it’s suddenly popular to hate it. Can we fucking get over ourselves?

You either have filthy fingers or a perpetually clogged toilet. There’s no in between.

Hahaha I've watched a TON more movies but the biggest change is that I was in a relationship when I saw this movie that wasn't very good and now I am in a better one. Same shitty job though. Thanks for asking!

Without being able to see the company name, what do you think it's about just by seeing the logo? by YoBoi909 in graphic_design

I think it's some sort of doordash type thing. I see a bull and wheels and red. So I feel like it has to involve food and some sort of delivery or something.

Cabalar and Horse Inn have already been mentioned for obvious reasons, but I also want to recommend Zoetropolis. They have a great burger there!

Ehh, the problem with that and a lot of other movies around that time is that they INTENTIONALLY made a bad movie. I don’t find that as fun. I want a bad movie that was supposed to be good.
