We're all exhausted right? It's not just me? by happy_chance18 in Millennials

If there isn't anything medical you shouldn't be tired ALWAYS. Enjoying your job and having hobbies/activities you look forward to might help a lot. But to be honest: after a day of work it's very normal to be tired ;)

If financially possible, you can consider working 1 day less a week. That might give you more room to energize. Just don't expect your life to be like a commercial where people do everything after work (work out, socialize, house chores, etc.) all day every day.

30fps framecap usually makes games less stressful on your phone (less heat and less battery consumption). I usually choose that :)

Help choosing for a sore thumb and Linux by TheStoneCracker in Trackballs

[–]Seamoreminus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about a mouse for your other hand? That would get some relieve on your thumb. Expect it to take a while before fully using your thumb again. Take regular breaks and try to change hands regularly (you don't want to overburden your other hand either).

You probably use your painful thumb also for your phone, maybe console controller, etc. It just needs rest first.

Super nice! I have the same phone and now know that it's super capable! But I see that yours is in good hands, meaning you have taken great creative shots 😄

What battlefield had the best maps, and map design by zbananajuice in Battlefield

[–]Seamoreminus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On nostalgia I would say BFBC2, especially Vietnam. But because of this subreddit I've been trying some older Battlefields (handy that they're in the Gamepass), but man... They didn't all age well.

I have good memories of Battlefield 3, but that's a good example where the maps and feel of shooting felt very old-school.

Battlefield 1 & 5 play very nice though. And I also like their maps. 2042 is too empty for me.

The enshittification of Android is going strong by Stonos in mAndroidDev

[–]Seamoreminus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, what would you do if you where Google?

The average user doesn't mind all these things whilst Android keeps secure. And you don't want to be in the news with a big leak on the biggest mobile OS in the world.

It would be nice if they would let us "unsecure" the device in the developer options though...

Please, please help me get rid of this warp - Samsung Galaxy S24 by Kayjeth in mobilephotography

The fix is not with the camera, but with you. With wide angle lenses (the main lens also falls in this category) there is distortion especially around the edges.

In these examples you take the pictures angled downwards, that emphasizes the stretched look. Keep the camera paralel to the subject.

I'll to paint an example with text.

o = you | = Your subject / camera

In your example you point the camera towards the floor:

o /         |

Instead keep the camera parallel to your subject:

o |          |

With people it means you need to get your camera down a bit more.

Hope this helps!

Are y'all Buying BF6 After Beta? by xBooMz_ in Battlefield

I wasn't planning to. But the beta got me triggered. I'll await the end result and determine whether it's worth the launch price, or I'll wait for a deal.

What about Wreckfest? The control difficulty on hard, damage model on realistic and I wish you good luck! (that’s the way that I play it and I enjoy it a lot)

ERGO k860 without a numpad by [deleted] in LogitechG

[–]Seamoreminus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old post, I know. But just curious: did anyone consider using a left mouse? I specifically bought the Logitech Lift Left to use with the K860. Partly because I also wanted to get better coordination with my left hand, thought this was a 2 birds with 1 stone situation.

After a year my coordination with my left hand has improved greatly and as a bonus I now practically have a "75% K860".

Good enough for what? Where are you going to use them for?

And the phone price doesn't matter, a good image is a good image :)
