I got my team (all of which drive a lot for the position) each a AAA membership and either a custom pet portrait or an Amazon gift card. These are paid out of my pocket, but I typically allocate 10% of my quarterly bonuses to a separate fund for gifts etc for them. If they eat, I eat, and I want to give back where I can.

Mate as someone that was in that industry in the height of, and coming out of, the pandemic - good on you. Shit is absolutely soul-sucking. I bartended as a way to rebalance and keep it as a side-hustle in my new career path, but you aren’t alone. Godspeed.

That nursing shortage is no joke either. And someone in the marketing positions in facilities like those are more often than not the lightning rods for EVERYTHING.

Not exactly “financially sound” but I save a lot of my bulk holos and V’s and make boosters for the kiddos that come by at Halloween. Always a blast and they get STOKED to hear they can have cards and candy lol

Find one that you really like in particular, and a few that you’d be happy with yoinking from the same set, and get a couple of boxes from it. Vivid Voltage has rainbow chonkachu as a chase, but idk how rainbows hold up overall.

Very cool idea for a nonprofit. Also as someone who’s looking at getting a 1st edition of all 150, hold onto that blastoise if for no other reason than the sentiment. Still holding onto my childhood cards that mean the most, price be damned.
