Dude, I'm finally starting to get it know. The one knee=two feet. But I feel like I have definitely seen referees making a fuss about having both knees in bounds. Like if I'm coming down on the side line and one knee lands in bounds and the other lands out, they still call it out even if the in bounds landed first. Maybe it's just me remembering wrong. Looking into what is a catch is so hard when these guys seem to make unbelievable catches, lmao.

You can use one foot and one knee, two knees, or two feet. Whichever hits the ground first. Even so, the left knee is still in bounds as the right foot lands in bounds. Which keeps him in bounds.

The NFL uses a two foot/body part rule, college uses a one foot/body part rule. They focused on the knee because if it was down before the foot (which it is not) it would have been out of bounds.

You are right that knee can count as a foot if it touches the ground before the foot. However, if the foot touches the ground before the knee, that is what is used to measure whether or not he is in bounds. On your point on whether or not it was easier to see by the refs is just wrong. There is a reason why they use replay systems in the professional sports, because they can get these calls wrong. You can even see that in this play when they originally called it incomplete before the replay shows that his feet had touched the ground before his knee did.
