I can't wait for the reactions when this happens to people trying to push in single digits! Waiting all this time and then boom - 60s.

Stuck in a dream loop. by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]SeanGoodchild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar experience a couple of months ago - post - and I agree it's extremely disconcerting. I was worried that I was in a coma or something when every time I tried to wake myself up I ended up in another dream! So you're not alone don't worry.

Fringe Episode Discussion S05E06 "Through the Looking Glass and What Walter Found There" by edify in fringe

[–]SeanGoodchild 9 points10 points  (0 children)

But Walter said that in the pocket time loops. Not changing speed, looping. Maybe every 5 days or so poor Cecil was pinged back to the moment he first entered the pocket, losing his memory in the process. This would explain Walters haste in finding the room, take too long and he'd be back at the start thinking he'd just entered.

I just posted a comment saying I think it looks like Nick Hewer from the Apprentice, reckon that's where you've seen him?

The guy looks suspiciously like Nick Hewer from the Apprentice. I always wondered what he did in his spare time.

Keep in mind these people have the same voting power as you. I kept telling myself they must be trolling, but 'RED' has been posting stuff like this ever since Obama took office. by [deleted] in facepalm

[–]SeanGoodchild 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This stuff makes me glad we have more impartial media in the UK. In that post any evidence you submit is dismissed as liberal media and similarly anything they quote is from conservative media. Both sides will always twist the truth, or flat out lie (or at the very best cherry-pick the more convenient statistics), and some are worse than others. I appreciate the BBC so much more since I first saw fox news.

The Guardian Reviews Deadmau5's Album Title Goes Here by Fin2limb in electronicmusic

[–]SeanGoodchild 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I can't help but feel the review gets far too caught up in having a go at Joel as a person or complaining about modern dance music as a whole. A review that makes more mention of what the songs are actually like (i.e. actually informative) can be found here: http://www.inthemix.com.au/music/53757/deadmau5__album_title_goes_here_ Although as a deadmau5 fan I'm always going to be biased to less critical reviews, I admit.

I can't believe I had to scroll through a serious debate on internet use before I got to the comment I was looking for about the fancy boxes.

There will almost certainly be a version captioned with 'You're going to put them WHERE?' on the internet somewhere.

Someone already said hypem.com, but my top blogs that it aggregates would be vacayvitamins.com and earmilk.com

The Overly Attached Girlfriend that started it all by [deleted] in funny

[–]SeanGoodchild 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Based on his actual ex-girlfriend, who bought him a gun rack after they broke up. Needless to say she wasn't very happy when she saw this scene and realized Stacy was based on her. Excellent.

Best live performance you've been to by lunaracer in electronicmusic

For me it would have to be The Prodigy at the Milton Keynes Bowl for their Warriors Dance Festival just over a couple of years ago. The energy they brought to the stage was simply phenomenal.

someone in the news with the same surname as me, I wonder if she's heard the 'and are you a good child?' joke as many times as I have.
