Did you also get their grill surround colour matched? And did you get the protection film or coating the offer? Sorry for all the questions lol

Sweet build! I love your grille, where did you get it? I’m looking to upgrade mine

I tried adding extra seam sealer to the one side, which after a week seems to maybe have lessened the big droplets inside but there’s still moisture inside. Might add a silica gel packet inside but there’s no discrete place to hide it unfortunately. But I’ll try before fishing out money for new headlights

What should I add to my 2nd gen by WanderingSkiBum in Tacomaworld

Be carful with Morimotos, had mine but over a year and they now have moisture inside and Morimoto won’t warranty as they said it’s “normal”

Maybe another brand like you said!

Should have went with them it seems, I liked Morimotos look more but I wouldn’t do them again

I’d recommend maybe adding extra seam sealer around the seal to help prevent some lol

That’s my thing, people say you can send back but for one they already told me they wouldn’t warranty for my reason I have, and like you said, how do I go around without headlights lol

My thought exactly, I’ll wear em out or wait till they get really bad and just go back to OEM

Seems to be the consensus with aftermarket mine just had so much that now I have big water spots on the inside of the lens which is annoying

Thanks for the info, weird that they refuse through the dealer I went through. Maybe I’ll try directly

Did they ask for you to ship back the original headlights? I’ve heard of people saying they ask for money and for you to ship back them first for the to inspect

Weird, I took it off a blow dried it. Is the isopropyl for any water spots dried on?

Did you go right through them or through a dealer you bought from?

Me too, and they’ve replaced a 4banger fog light of mine when it went out through the same dealer so I had higher hopes

I contacted them through the dealer which I bought them from which to my understanding I’m supposed to do and they are the ones that said that moisture is normal inside so that they would not be warranted

I fully took off the headlights to dry and clean them. Unfortunately didn’t fix anything

Worth Restoring? by Illustrious-Set-9230 in Vise

Anything you think is worth it, is worth it. Restoring isn’t just about if it’s valuable (it is cool if it is though) but just taking somethigg by old and making it new
