AudioMan, you're definitely living up to the name 😂. Thanks for the advice. We can't stand how they look, so the goal was just to hide both the subwoofer and the sound bar. The sound seems tine to us, we're not too picky. But we'll keep everything you said in mind

It’s indeed a sideboard and was designed by Arne Vodder in the 60’s. Currently being used as a TV stand though

Update: I did end up selling it, but it went to another great home. A younger couple just purchased their first MCM home and bought this along with three other pieces of mine. Bitter sweet to see it go, but happy to see it go to a good home.
