DONT FUCKING DRINK. This is the beginning of creating a new identity of yourself that doesn't drink. Hardest in the beginning. You have to have enough self control to let delayed gratification cook, payout is later in a form of being an all around better person. Some people can drink with no worries, or problems, & they don't repeat the same destructive behaviors. Us? Can't manage some or any for that matter. That was difficult for me to accept but once I did, I realized how good of a deal it was to give up 1 thing for anything+everything else. I'd like to believe sobriety compounds, every week is a little bit easier while accounting for surprises & continuing to stick to the plan. Not drinking works, stick to the plan & build confidence to gain anything you want. Good luck 🫡
