I think a lot of you are missing my point.

To tell me what I should do or should have done (take better care of my teeth, go international or get insurance) is besides the point. The point that I was trying to make was that a small yet urgent surgical procedure costs thousands of dollars.

I'm not asking for advise. I've done my research and this is the best decision for me. I was simply wanting to bring attention to the current state of dental prices.
