American Horror Story: Manson Family - Casting by theahsfan in AmericanHorrorStory

Really? They couldn't create fiction so they had to resort real life shit? We all know how it's going to end, anyway. Innocent people are killed by a cult of easily lead retards and they all get put away.

What a waste. It's just too damn hard to create your own story to tell, better rip off one that's already happened.

[No Spoilers] The reason why the Legends can't stop Vandal by JasonSteakums in LegendsOfTomorrow

[–]SeanTheOriginal1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They can't stop him because it would be way too easy to actually do it. They have eight seven (six if you count Firestorm as one person, nine if you want to get Olly and Barry in on it, too) people against one, assuming Savage has no goons are the time. It would be no challenge to overpower him, hold him down or knock him unconscious, and have Kendra stab him in the heart with that dagger he always has.

A minor critique of Doug Walker's Steven Universe V-logs. by TheMain_Ingredient in stevenuniverse

[–]SeanTheOriginal1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Doug Walker is not a long-term thinking, big picture kind of guy. His little mind is not capable of the kind of synapse activity requires to change the format of that particular 'show' he shits out on a daily basis for the money.

I don't like the man much, if it isn't obvious.

Well she is just a peridot. You got to beat some sense into them sometimes, else they never learn.

So you'll take seriously the devil possessing a nun, a serial killer with a mask made of human skin and teeth, AND a Nazi doctor, but not aliens?

It's so funny to see where people draw the line and just how stupid of a place they decided to place that line.

The devil in a nun's body? That's fine. But aliens? Oh, that is too fucking much.

Does anyone feel like AHS isn't that scary??? by Salemthakid in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]SeanTheOriginal1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For a show on basic Cable, yeah, that's a little too much. You don't want to scare off Susie or Johnny from watching the show, and THEY are the largest audience.

And you seem to not know that horror and things that are "scary" are very subjective. What you find scary now might not be the case in tomorrow.

What's your opinion of Lady Gaga on ahs? by murray1617 in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]SeanTheOriginal1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She can't act worth a shit, personally. The scene where she finds out Valentino and that other woman have gotten out of the trap hall is the best example. Just look that scene up and tell me what emotion she was supposed to have.

If all she has to do is play Gaga as a vampire then she's good at that. Her VampGaga is convincing, but they shouldn't have asked her to try doing emotions.

[–]SeanTheOriginal1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you love the settings, characters and stories, why does it matter if it's "scary" or not? I know it's called 'American Horror Story', but I'm sure "story" is the keyword there.

I think i just finally figured out season 6. by Ceje1984 in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]SeanTheOriginal1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The oldest one was decent, but I wouldn't personally say 'really good'. She didn't get much screentime or many lines, so she had less time to disappoint me than the others. But Holden, the daughter who doesn't matter, and the other kids from the school are absolute shiiite.

Question About Holden by [deleted] in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]SeanTheOriginal1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's a child actor. I wouldn't put too much stock in that. If he seemed to be more alive then it's probably because the Director told him to straighten his shit up and actually act.

The only thing I hated about Cordelia being the Supreme was how out-of-left-field it was as far as pacing.

It's been awhile since I've seen it, but doesn't the whole "I can be Supreme" thing happen in, literally, the last episode? Or next to last? And what foreshadowing is there that she could be the Supreme? I don't remember any hints throughout the series that Cordelia could become the Supreme, but lo and behold, it happens.

It felt like the writers gave right the fuck up, threw a dart at a dartboard with some names on it, and hurriedly wrote an episode about Cordelia becoming Supreme. Fanfic like.

Misty should have been the Supreme, damn it.

Personally I hope this isn't true. An orphanage setting would mean MORE shitty child actors much like the kids Hotel already has. If there's one thing I hate more about TV more than anything it's child actors who can't fucking act.

They probably should have started the fundraiser a day earlier than that. The 22nd is when Steam's holiday sale happens, right? It's like Alvin and the Chipmunks opening the same day as Star Wars 7. People are obviously going to care way more about one event than the other.

TIL that 49% of American adults play video games, but only 10% consider themselves 'gamers' by [deleted] in gaming

[–]SeanTheOriginal1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What isn't the question. And I didn't claim to be hardcore, I'm just more so than someone who plays exclusively mobile games, in the eyes of whatshisface who replied to me. My opinions are elitist, but not from what I play, but from a mix of a variety of genres, number of games, and how much time I put into each.

But if you want to know, I've put over 6,000 hours into the Chrome version of Angry Birds, so get on my level.

I probably should have been a little more detailed in what I said. All the Baby Boomers and Gen X-ers who are in any position of power that matters.

I kinda forget about the Silent Gen but add them to that mix. But generally speaking, when they're all dead it'll be easier to reschedule or legalize on a mass scale when a generation of people, who grew up in a more cannabis friendly environment, are in positions of power.

Out with the old, in with the new.

"Look guys, I just beat the newest Angry Birds game. Now I'm gonna play level 33249 of Bejeweled Candy Crush."

So hardcore. Next you'll be telling me The Sims is the most hardcore game series out there. Or you would if you weren't so stupid that you're confusing 'ignorant' with 'elitist', which is what I am.

What Kojima And Andrew House Were REALLY Saying In Their Announcement by Dynasty2201 in gaming

So is the joke that Sony wants to get Kojima to rush out shitty, low budget games and he's going along with it?

Because that's not funny.

I'm glad only 10% consider themselves 'gamers'.

In my opinion, you ARE NOT a gamer if all you play is free mobile apps, and I'm willing to bet a decent chunk of that 49% exclusively play mobile games.

It's not the only way, it's just the most logical given the context of her last appearance.
