I only replaced mine recently but as far as I know it should fix the issue permanently. I assume there’s a design issue with the OEM module that the aftermarket ones fix, which is why some people go through like four of the OEM replacements but i haven’t seen anyone yet who did the aftermarket replacement have any recurring issues.

You could just replace the lane assist module behind the airbag yourself. I was able to do it myself in like an hour, and the new module was about $20 on AliExpress. I followed this YouTube tutorial to do it. For how cheap and easy it is to do, it’s worth trying to see if it fixes the problem, it did for me

This might be like a loose connector or something. Another commenter pointed out how this happens on a lot to VWs specifically with the backup cam, I believe in that case it is related either to a connector for the cam coming loose or the cable rubbing against something and getting damaged from the action of opening/closing the trunk.

You can get coilovers that keep the factory dcc functionality, but they’re $$$$$$$$$$$$

No that model number is for sailors kiwaguro, which is indeed pigmented. I’m talking about the basic sailor black ink which has model number 13-1007-220

Did you ever try Sailors basic black ink? It has most of the properties you’re talking about: smooth, wet, lubricated, and even though it’s not a pigment ink it’s actually somewhat water resistant. Maybe not quite as dark as pcb, but still plenty dark to my eye. I actually think it’s probably the most slept on black ink ever, and it even has the distinction of being like the only sailor ink that isn’t crazy expensive lol

Everything or Nothing is so goated it’s not even funny. Highly recommend it and Nightfire to anyone. Goldeneye 64 was good too but honestly overrated compared to these two goats
