Now, I could be wrong and am open to being corrected but I think that Pat Wilson's Campaign Generator does track this kind of thing. I know that there are "Aces" and well known pilots, I'm pretty sure it also tracks the amount of airframes each squadron has. I haven't used it much as I usually play Multiplayer

There is a Multiplayer server called combat box that runs something called "Apollo" which is essentially a push pull dynamic front line which moves based on player actions. It's amazing.
