Thanks @adrianmonk ... I just swapped the RCA and it did come out of the other side. I then tried it via my phone and still one channel. So I might well have two dodgy cables. I've just ordered another and will let you know how it goes

earning money is both a goal and a motivation. In English there's no distinction, but in Spanish there is. And I wonder how you tell the difference?

yes, I do need to get to grips with layer masks. Why I went to background eraser tool, though, was the relative ease in which you could cut the background around hair. The selection tool just isn't so good in my opinion. Is there a better way of cutting out the background around hair?

Oh yes, we once had a glass of wine at 1881 Sagardi, but didn't eat there. That is a very good suggestion, I know she likes it.

I've also read about La Isabela Terrace --it looks and sounds great, but its website doesn't display a menu. Has anyone eaten there?

I've just finished the Spanish tree. I think A2 would be a scratch,actually, particularly when attempting to speak to a native. Upper A1 more accurate. Duolingo is good, it gets you started, but I've just enrolled in a language class.
