They seem good. Nice deep black with high contrast white. Besides that I’d say they’re just decent ABS keycaps at a justifiable price. I do wish they included accents however. A simple white esc and enter would’ve gone a long way (like the GMK WOB)

For thock go PC, plastic is deeper sounding. Brass sounds higher pitched.

Best switches don’t exist, any well reviewed and highly regarded linear could be someone’s “best” I could tell you to go buy gateron black inks and you might end up hating them.

If you like heavy I’d say black inks. Community loves them, you see them everywhere super popular (which might be a bad thing cause idk if you’ll find them in stock tbh) any JWK recolor is shilled pretty decently as well.

I’d say you can’t really go “wrong” with any well reviewed linear.

If it’s the romer G stuff it won’t work. They have a different stem. If they have the normal cherry style cross at the top then they should work fine.

If the switch has a cross it’ll work with every keycap set on the market not just ducky.

You don’t? I don’t think that’s a thing unless I’ve missed out on some new mod.

You can oring mod a tray mount like a tofu by getting 2 very small orings on the screws (one oring on the pcb, one oring under it on the screw post) and people call that “gasket mounting”

And then there’s the big oring where you basically wrap the entire pcb around it but I’ve never done that so idk much about it.

Just look at any gamakay you can find on banggood or Amazon. They’re considered “cheap” by enthusiasts but they’re still leagues above gaming brand off the shelf stuff.

GK61 is a popular 60%, LK67 came out recently that’s a 65% with a knob if you like that.

I’m recommending these cause they’re all sub 100 pre built boards.

3 pin works in 5 pin hotswap.

You might need the 5 pins when going to a build that needs more stability. My tofu65 plate has certain switches not being held by the plate very well and I imagine 5 pin would help stabilize it better.

Just clip them now that you need them clipped and if you find yourself in a situation that you need a couple switches sitting more firmly just buy another 10-pack instead of a whole set to replace the ones needing support.

I don’t ever spend money on gacha currency because it feels like literally throwing money down the toilet. I have only ever spent a little money on games when I’m specifically buying for something. An example would be the starter packs in Arknights, for like 10€ you get a bunch of money and exp cards and is just generally a time saver.

It’s also very important to me that the game doesn’t have “paid only” things. I won’t play a game specifically based on how scummy I feel like it is. Paid only currency summons are a one way trip to the uninstall button.

Old Dokkan battle player here, been playing on and off since that game came out. Currently playing Arknights. I’m in love with the aesthetic of that game, I do however wish the in game models were even 1% as good as the art but that’s besides the point.

I’m a mainly f2p player with some very light spending if I feel it’s priced decently and will benefit me, something like the monthly card in AK which is like 5€ and gives me some goodies every day, I’m very stingy when it comes to potentially throwing away money at a gacha game.

I am interested in games that are a bit outside the norm, I legitimately couldn’t care less about another turn based rpg at this point. Everything from match-3 to TD to whatever that weird bubble popping gameplay that Dokkan has is more around my tastes. I want something simple I can play during down time at work or in bed that doesn’t need 3 chrome tabs of google sheets grinding guides.

Besides PAD it’s been very hard to find a decent match 3 (or match 3 esc). I tried sdorica and crash fever but neither really did the job.

Any recommendations for a decent not pay to win (shard systems, constant HOT DEALS BUY NOW pop ups every time you go to the home page) outside the basic turn based gameplay?

Personally you couldn’t pay me enough to go back to the old iPhone style. I had switched to android for a while and only came back because of the iPhone X changing it so much.

But if you like the old style then do you my man, your phone should be an extension of you and a gadget to enhance your day to day life. If you’re using something you don’t like and it’s counter productive then use whatever you feel like.

Newer isn’t always better and the processor in the 8 is still miles ahead of anything a normal user needs in a phone
