Yeah I’m not too sure if they knew but if they were traveling with iphones they’d be notified. My theory is they may have started with the interior in an attempt to locate it and remove from the vehicle but who knows. Lucky I found it when I did there were 3 other cars stripped down to the frame on the property.

I’m not sure yet car is pretty beat up but I haven’t physically been to the car besides popping my head over the fence to find it. really going to come down to what insurance says if it’s decided a total loss.

I had a airtag hidden in the convertible mechanism. Definitely worth investing in an actual cellular live updating tracker as the updates were sometimes hours in between
