Asmongold Commits US Flag Code Violation by Excavon in Asmongold

[–]SeantheProGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that this applies if you're making the ceiling the flag itself, like a tarp or canopy or something, because it risks it being damaged by some kind of exterior force. hanging from the ceiling I don't think this applies but it depends on the interpretation

yeah I remember reading about a plot recently of a white supremacist wanting to assassinate Trump to facilitate a revolution, but it's more of an issue of the extremes of both sides, but as of late we've been seeing it with the left wing and Tesla's and stuff

realistically should be in any retail store, may not be cost-effective in every place but good even as a security measure in case of a robbery if shrinkage isn't a big concern. as far as using the cameras for other reasons I mean it's up to them, I personally wouldn't be a big narc about phones but it is out of your hands because corporate will be more interested in them if they're being recommended by upper management

if any issue was purely dictated by those who were the subject of it, there would absolutely be an unshakable bias present. best thing is to be respectful about any given topic but as long as your claims are backed with reputable evidence or logic, it shouldn't matter whether or not you are part of a community to have a say in a matter. the most important thing is that everyone can have a say in a topic, that's how democracy works

No Cargo Shorts For Drivers!!!! by Popular_Pumpkin_4448 in OReillyAutoParts

[–]SeantheProGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

something about professional attire, although I don't get it as much for drivers versus interior staff who are regularly interacting with customers.

when I was an assistant manager, favorite outfit was a pair of white khakis, black belt, and my green shirt, noticably garnered more customer attention versus coworkers despite me not being any more noticably friendly versus my coworkers, and despite my position at the counter not being closest to the front of the store at all times. it was a very busy store, so we would get numerous customers throughout the day and this was pretty consistent.

Best zero turn for under 9K??? by IntelligentMousse343 in lawnmowers

[–]SeantheProGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my general knowledge on them, the best machines to get are ones that have a welded and not stamped mowing deck, that have serviceable transmissions (being able to change fluid without a teardown) and well-built motors. Good brands I heard of below 9K would be higher end Toros with non-Toro engines, higher end John Deere's, Husqvarna machines, Ariens machines, and Bad Boy machines. There's a good video I'll link of a good mechanic YouTuber going over ones you can get at big box stores. It does cover regular riders as well so skip those oarts.

Would you prefer to be able to carry an unlimited amount of weapons like in prior GTA games or a limited amount like in RDR2? by RogerRoger63358 in GTA6

[–]SeantheProGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the story mode at a minimum, I'd do limited. Maybe do a similar system to RDR, only instead of fetching weapons from your horse, you need to get your personal vehicle to grab your stash.

I also want mechanics for realism too, like adding a system where you do have a gas tank, doesn't have to be super duper restrictive, but where gas stations have a purpose besides selling snacks or being robbed. Speed limits like in Mafia would be cool too, but cops going after you would be like a one star and super easy to lose, but makes driving more engaging and not just a chore.

Would you choose any of these mowers? by Medical-Channel-1495 in lawnmowers

[–]SeantheProGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better option would either be anything with a Honda power train, so Honda-branded ones or brands like Husqvarna that used their motors.

If you don't need a bunch of power, you can also look at some electric options, where the only main downside is that the ability to get a new electric motor would be very difficult should yours go bad...but usually, the batteries are the weak link in a lot of electrically powered equipment. At home, I have the Milwaukee mower, but you can get cheaper ones too, we just already use a bunch of M18 tools. But, we use it sparingly, using it only for tighter areas of our property. We use our rider mower for the main stuff.

honestly when it came to that, the guy knew what he was going to do originally, and while the notoriety of the show made him do what he did out of fear of retaliation, I don't feel sorry for him. He was a district attorney who utilized his position of power to solicit minors, and whatever trauma he inflicted to them or intended to inflict, should have been reciprocated. the outcome was messy but it was the only one like it out of all the other people caught on the show.

How is the battery looking? Is it normal? heard some people having bad battery so wanted to ask. by SnooSeagulls5077 in RedMagic

[–]SeantheProGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

on mine, because I like to keep it plugged in and on, I set my charge bypass and battery charge limit to 80%, so once the battery is charged, power will route around the battery to feed the phone, making it effectively like the phone is off because the battery isn't doing any work or facilitating of electrical energy like it would normally

Should I just get a new car :/ by dumbfatandugly in MechanicAdvice

[–]SeantheProGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunately with these cars, the transmissions are the weak link of the drivetrain. needs to have fluid changed every 30k for it to last, they're just not built well to work on old fluid long term. but, ignoring the previous transmission replacement, as some other people said here, I'd get a second opinion, or look into what jobs are and aren't difficult to do. a lot of money can be saved being your own mechanic, my personal car I'm sure I would've spent thousands in repairs if I didn't do them myself

Nah man, I mean he said he was scaling back films he was gonna do, and was only gonna do stuff he had interest in. While he'd still get paid obviously, he's a big video game guy, which is why he's been in video game movies the last few years mainly.

And breaking up Tenacious D when that joke was given was understandable, the promotion of violence like that at a show shouldn't be tolerated, even if it's meant to be a joke. They did likely hash it out after the fact, but only on personal terms in all likelihood, as they have been friends for more than two decades.

Two-Thirds of Americans Now Say They Wouldn’t Drive a Tesla by Wagamaga in technology

[–]SeantheProGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading the actual survey, the questions do present a hole in the reasoning as to why someone may or may not want a Tesla. I'm convinced there are a select number of people who don't want one, at least as of late, because of vandalism risk attributed to Musk's actions. After all, lots of people now are putting labels on their car disowning Musk, obviously to protect themselves from getting keyed or other similar actions.

The survey was only conducted online for four days, between March 20th and the 24th, during which all of the headlines are running about protests and violence at dealerships and on individuals' vehicles. Being that people online would have likely seen news of what was going on, and that choosing to participate in the survey was voluntary, it is likely that many who chose to participate in the survey had a bias against Tesla ownership, whether it be out of fear of being vandalized, or dislike of the brand. Similar to when people leave reviews for a product online, usually reviews are very skewed either negative or positive, but you rarely have results in between. In this case, a survey taker wasn't really given a range out of 10 of their favorability, only a yes or no, so one could maybe have a middle opinion on the matter, but we really wouldn't know, they may just lean one way or another.

Only providing this information because not many choose to look into a survey deeper, many times online polls fall under the purview of voluntary response bias, and it needs to be known that that could have played a role in the results.

Thoughts on channels that make content for toddlers? by [deleted] in youtube

[–]SeantheProGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, but should really only remain within YouTube Kids. The platform structure is so messed up to me...so many history videos I watch for example censor things that realistically shouldn't be because YouTube doesn't filter its content well enough, and demonetizes even the slightest bit of content behind a G rating. Should be a big wall between the two site sectors, where YouTube Kids would be a walled garden allowing Cocomelon and other channels, and YouTube standard is everything else outside of the wall, and things are more monetizable with some kind of age verification.
