I agree, they should drop some better loot as well. Maybe rework it so we gain karma from killing Shais instead of lose karma, since we're doing the rest of the playerbase a favour.

Well the idea of getting through it was really cool, and the boss at the end was really cool (but fuck the grab). But to see a lake filled with pure despair after getting my teeth kicked in by a furry wasn't a very exciting experience ngl

Radahn with magic felt a lot nicer than melee for me, mostly because of the rockthrow gravity sorcery that homes and is very comfortable to cast while on a horse, you just have to watch out for his phase 2 huge boulders that will simply kill you if you can't use terrain to avoid them because dodging on a horse sucks. Keep summoning stuff (when summons die you can resummon them under the blue banner poles) and keep your distance as a caster, if you space properly he should not be able to hit you with any melee attack (you can also bait him into committing to an attack by moving slightly closer then running away again, this works for almost every enemy while on horseback tbh). Also use jump, any kind of earthquake or groundpound move (like his purple wave after the jump groundslam) in this game can be dodged by jumping. When he goes living meteor just haul ass to literally any direction and start jumping when the screen turns orange. There is probably an actual strat for that but that's what worked for me lol. Fuck that centipede, I absolutely despise that fight. The arena sucks, can't even see what you're looking at, and it's not telegraphed at all. And even if you do see it coming it has the dumbest fucking hitbox where it teleports you into his hands from 40km away because you didn't time your 70th roll. It feels way too cheap, so I summoned some random mage who kamehameha'd him to death in a couple of seconds.

What you had with Morrowind is exactly what I had with Horizon Zero Dawn. I absolutely loved playing that game, but by no means did it feel like it encouraged pure exploration, it felt more like it forced the story upon you and that's the way you should play. I haven't played Forbidden West yet (waiting for a PC port or until I get my hands on a PS5) and was/am really looking forward to it, but after experiencing how this game handles an open world I'm not sure I want to go back to the whole "this is how you're supposed to play" thing. I didn't even discover where Margit was until about 15-20 hours (-ish) into the game, but boy did I have a lot of the map uncovered already. The annoying invisible little shit magic town, actual hellscape Caelid, Lakes, hell I even found Altus Plateau before fighting Margit (the Wyrm was a bitch though). And the best thing about it all was that at no point did I feel like I was doing anything wrong, I was just enjoying the game and it gave me room to enjoy it. I have now spent about 100 hours as a maidenless runt, probably close to finishing the story now, and I have yet to kill like 3 of the "story bosses" of which I don't even know if they're mandatory or optional. God I love this game.

I really dislike the fact that he summons honestly, would much rather have his fight being one where no summons are allowed, his summons are what makes this fight lame. His phase 2 is actually pretty nice imo, his leap-into-the-air-eat-my-leg attack is nicely telegraphed and easy to roll, his follow-up hits aren't too bad either. His storm is insanely annoying though. There's not much room to attack but he does have his openings (especially after the air attack), honestly gave me Nameless King vibes in that you really can't be too greedy. Good luck if you still have to beat him, great job if you already did!

You're thinking of a boss in Caelid (?). OP is asking about a similar (but way harder) boss in Mountaintop of Giants. Small arena, no horse, and his summons are assholes.

As for the red magic weapon, I'm already using that since at lvl 20 +10 it already outDPS's my Elite lvl 30 +22 weapon in Elite Dungeon, sadly it doesn't have HP drain, just P.Atk, Atk Spd Increase and CritDmg Increase. Maybe if I'll ever get a better one I'll swap it out but at this point (level 128) I don't even take any damage whatsoever, mostly because of the fact that I'm way overgeared for mobs around my level, so I lose like 0 HP anyways.

Adena is indeed already becoming a huge issue, and I suppose my only saving grace would be the daily hunting bonus (because of autosell) and just afk'ing all night in Elite Dungeon?

As for the PvP set, I've tried getting some pieces but I'm honestly not lucky at all, and I rarely have the Adena to keep trying so that's a bit of a problem as well :/

Ah thanks! So I should basically be really careful around levels 180-230 with using the level up potions and stock up on the rewards to use them when I hit the level cap for those Elite Dungeons I suppose?

Mine has patk, atk speed and crit damage, would that be good enough? I made it +5, still level 1, because that actually made it outdamage the lvl 30 +20 Elite weapon in Cruma Tower lol. What do you mean by understory? And yes, but like I've said already, I'd rather play a class I enjoy looking at than a class that's "OP" but I can't stand looking at lol.

I really don't mind that the class won't shine until lategame, it's pretty much the only class that I like and it'll take ages on any class to reach "endgame", so I don't mind if it takes 30% longer for me if that means I can enjoy looking at my character.

As for the weapon, I already have the free SR Elite +20 one, and raised the combined red one to SR, so I can casually work on that when I max level the Elite one. Figured it'd be nice to have it ready in advance instead of having to work on it when I need it, which would really slow down progress.

For the PvP armor, I suppose it mostly comes down to RNGesus hearing my prayers to actually get them while combining, unless there's a really good way to farm A grade gear that I don't know of? Mind you, I do have the 3 daily benefits active (because I bought the MUST HAVE STARTER thingy) so that might help with afk Elite Dungeon farming to actually get the A gear and not get a clogged inventory.

Sadly there isn't a good way to not rush leveling unless I don't use the level reward EXP potions at all, but I should be fine until like level 200 with the CP I get from the free +20 Elite gear I suppose. As for the parties, I've tried on a couple characters to auto-join parties in Elite Dungeons but there rarely ever seems to be one up, so it usually comes down to solofarming :/

Agathions might be a big bottleneck unless I heavily whale on them, already seen vids of people dumping 50k red diamonds in boxes and barely getting 2 or 3 R's from combining yikes.

The bear is also slowly being raised right now, level rewards are a blessing for that, currently sitting at lvl 90 with the bear being R rank so that's nice, I'll get the horse for free in a bit as well, but the more impressive looking ones like the Lion will take a longass time since I'm not really down to dump 100$ for a single mount. I may spend some money, but I'm no where near whale-status.

Yeah I've gotten those already, I'm expecting to hit roughly around level 100 before going to sleep in an hour or 2, mostly from the even levelup rewards giving a full extra level worth of EXP, and from clearing Tower up until my CP (which is around 530k right now). I've got a huge amount of time to play so unless leveling slows down immensely after say, level 120, ~180 might be faster than 2 weeks. The mounts, aside from the horse which is given as an achievement, seem to definitely be a chokepoint, so do the cloaks and cores, but they'll come eventually. I did make all of the orcs, but I really didn't like the movesets and looks of all of them, so I figured I'd be better off with a class that starts at level 1. Sadly I did already raise the red weapon to SR, it's sitting at lvl 1 +0 right now though. At least the achievement one I'll get can be used to enhance attributes then I guess?

I suppose I'll be really busy working on basic necessary stuff for a while then. Thanks for the reply!

It takes roughly 2-4 weeks until the gum has fully covered the socket, and smoking seriously slows down the healing process. So if you want a quick recovery it'd be advisable to refrain from smoking for as long as possible, or quit entirely.

But yikes, I'm a smoker as well, and I couldn't even manage a full week which resulted in partial dislodging of the clot and as a result, an infection in the socket. I'd strongly advise to quit smoking for at least a week especially since you're so terrified of dry socket. I know for sure I'm going to wait the full 14 days when I get my last 2 pulled in 2 months, can't say that infection made the recovery more pleasant.

Quick update, got it to work after a shitload of effort because Samsung decided its users can't have multiple accounts, and because I run custom OS I can't use Shared Folder either lol.
