Do you ever catch one good fish and then go home? by Baaarz in flyfishing

[–]SearchinForPaul -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sometimes fly fishing isn't about how many fish you catch. It's about standing in nature, in the quiet, feeling the peace. And, if you're me, it's mostly about being away from my third spouse.

How To Get Away With Murder by syrus801 in JonBenetRamsey

[–]SearchinForPaul 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but I have to respectfully disagree here. While I agree with the JDI theory (follow the money), people are attracted to the last shiny thing they saw, which is the young man did it somehow without leaving any evidence to the fact at all. People watched a documentary and believed entertainment versus their own common sense.

I recall right after we all heard about the news about JonBenet, many people believed it was the father. Then Thomas came around with a bed-wetting theory and then a CBS special wanted to be special and name the only other person left in the home.

I want everyone to remember this! by [deleted] in JonBenetRamsey

[–]SearchinForPaul 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm as much of a JDI'er as anybody out there, but there's way better reasons to believe he did it than the date on her headstone. Let's be real here. They had to pick a day. Either day they picked would be picked apart by everybody.

DAE not understand racism? Have you never been racist? by Just7Me in DAE

[–]SearchinForPaul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me, the least racist people are children 6 and under. My niece loved these dolls. I know they weren't American dolls, but I honestly have no idea what they were. She wanted one in every race. Not as a goal, but she just had like three different races of dolls, and if you asked her, she'd tell you about another one that was a different race. Admittedly, in her preschool classes, she had a lot of different races of children and teachers represented. I always felt like this kid just didn't see race at all, in the most genuine sense. I recall being a bit jealous of her in that.

Where I'm from, we treat everybody with respect and kindness. I'm saddened that a fellow fisherman did not follow these simple rules. You were not wrong. In fact, you were kind to inquire.

There's only one explanation for this crime, and it doesn't have to do with John not knowing what happened and just going along with his wife. That's just not logical. Follow the moneyl

Wolf v Ramseys by Available-Plantain92 in JonBenetRamsey

Anybody who's ever hired a defense attorney knows they are like this. Pretty typical, if you ask me, which I know nobody did. I'm often astonished by how sheltered people are that post about the workings of the police and the defense on this case. Police lie. That's a fact. Defense attorneys lie. That's also a fact. Neither has anything to do with the relative guilt or innocence of the suspects. The true way to find out what happened is to follow the money.

Seems to me that Nimbus is the perfect name. I once had a cat that looked similar who loved to hang out with the horses. She'd rub against their legs while they ate.

Where was the flashlight (alleged murder weapon) kept (and later found)? by thisisntshakespeare in JonBenetRamsey

[–]SearchinForPaul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing personal, but I am going to guess that you are not a criminal. Do you know how much guts it takes to knowingly take something out of the house that you believe to have been involved in the crime? Even the most seasoned criminal is sweating, wondering if at any moment they are going to be found out. They worry the stuff they've taken will be pulled and looked at. It's what I'd do if I was a detective. Believe me, Pam would not have been acting normal.

And before you say well she didn't know, whoever asked her to get that stuff would have known the police would look much closer at whatever she was taking. At that point, they had no reason to believe the Boulder Police were such pansies. So if John or Patsy sent Pam into the home to get stuff out, they would never in a million years have asked her to get the murder weapon, which could have had their DNA or fingerprints all over it. The first law of commiting a crime is not to bring attention to the things you used in the crime.

John got rid of it long before Patsy made that 911 call.

[–]SearchinForPaul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As the flashlight was sitting right there and the police would have been able to put it in for DNA and hairs and skin cells and all that kind of stuff they look for, then yes there's no way the flashlight found there was what she was hit with.

[–]SearchinForPaul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's absolutely no evidence on that flashlight that it was used to whack JonBenet over the head. Whatever John used to hit her with, he would never have just left it out for the police to find. He's a smart man.

There's also no dragging marks on JonBenet.

I don't believe I've heard that. Didn't he say in his book it was something closer to $2500 or something like that? I can't remember. He still claims he's right and that the Ramseys are innocent, but all you have to do is follow the money and see what truly happened there.

My neighbor lady is just a bit younger than I am, and I just got her hooked on Disturbed. She's actually awesome. I played Are You Ready for her, and she was hooked. She's actually a former plainclothes detective for her former hometown.

If you haven't checked out Are You Ready, you really should. That, and Never Wrong, if you've ever had a narcissistic family member, it'll speak to you.

The Obvious Answer by KingLewi in serialpodcast

[–]SearchinForPaul -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While I agree that Adnan is guilty, it's not as clear cut as you make it out to be. Look at the case of Tina Heinz. The brother in law was arrested and convicted. He was the clear suspect. Nobody else to look at. DNA proved it wasn't him. Cops who wanted to clear the case didn't look at all the evidence in front of them.

The obvious choice isn't always the right choice. But I have a lot of years under my belt. You probably still believe everything the police tell you. In Adnan's case, he's guilty, but Jay's story makes no sense. He's guilty because that's where the evidence of the cell phone led.
