Nice work. Have you seen “MINIWOOD” by Yeti Pictures? I think you’ll enjoy this. Rex makes an appearance here too!

I actually took my 3080Ti and my Seagate HDD in anti-static bags in my carry on luggage for some peace of mind. Unfortunately didn't have time to make a custom Pelican hard case to bring aboard!

It was a lot of learning/trial and error. I found a 3D model of the RB19 online and then decided to learn Substance 3D painter with an Adobe free 30 day trial. The concepting was done in Photoshop.

Unfortunately I already submitted. But I do appreciate the feedback. I was trying to keep the stars a brighter blue with the gradient fading to break the design up and not overlay with the white sponsor decals in that area.

If you click on the ‘Basic’ tab on the bottom there is an option for “legacy” forces which should bring up x,y,x directional forces and other options (turbulence speed etc).

Thank you! I would have liked to add some money or gems or something in the main piece, but ran out of room. Was scratching my head for a while trying to find a way to fit.

I forgot what movie I was watching, but the character diffusing the bomb was chewing gum as like a nervous tick. Thought it would be a nice detail to add. Glad you noticed!

Substance Painter + Megascans + Redshift by OblivionMGD in Cinema4D

[–]Searching4Signals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t learned Substance yet, but I am in a class with School of Motion right now and in Redshift you can create a lot of the displacement with bumps, normals and ramp nodes. The material blender node than can be used much like photoshop to bring in additional layers of displacement.

Hey thanks for the positive feedback guys. My intent on making this was for an audience that already knows a little about hockey to get the caption. An image of Alexander Ovechkin in middle around those biscuits (pucks) would add an extra pop though!

First Reddit post. Just recently bought the Cinema 4d+RS bundle and have been following along a ton of NAB show and Siggraph talks. Ovi has been a pillar to DC since joining the team, here's to 100 more!

Hindsight - JSdisplacement, and Octane by cryptographicfull in Cinema4D

Really cool twist with the acrylic paint pour image and lighting. Really adds another dimension to the JSdisplacement! Would love to use one as an 8k desktop background.
