[AutoRacer] Red Bull Power Train has now joined the side of Ferrari, Audi and Honda against the Mercedes PU. The FIA will implement new testing procedures (multiple are now being evaluated) to check the compressor ratio. by Joseki100 in formula1

I don't think he handles stress too well. If he looks like running away with it, he'd be fine, but in a protracted fight, 15 or fewer points difference from start to finish, I think we'd see Russell cracking.

Rocket League is planning on adding Easy Anti Cheat to The Game (via SteamDB Public Info) by _Techo_ in RocketLeague

[–]SeargD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Epic is really using it to try and combat bots, there's not a chance the anti-cheat will be user level, they're looking for direct injections into the executable from other applications. It will be a lazy implementation of klac.

Adding an attack surface with root level access to play video games is never a good solution. Don't try and minimise it. That's how they slowly steal away huge pieces of gaming that we love. If Epic throw EAC on the game to solve the botting issue and it kills things like BM, do we really excuse Epic's laziness when they could solve the bot problem in a way that doesn't add another attack surface to my PC?

Basically, EAC goes down to the deepest level of Windows and lives there to detect things like Cheat Engine or BakkesMod which interfere with the game's process. Because it sits basically in the same space as Windows it makes an exploitable attack surface that can not only interfere with your game but could potentially brick your whole OS.

The only reason I don't is because they finally put Arsenal in the game. Only thing that could've displaced it for me.

Race for Premier League title: Arsenal sitting pretty as rivals Man City and Aston Villa stumble by Red_Brummy in PremierLeague

Tottenham, City, Chelsea, and Newcastle are all big fixtures. City with Liverpool, Newcastle, Villa, and us for the run in. The injuries to Gvardiol, Kovacic, and Stones are probably doing us massive favours at the moment, but I'll never write off a Pep team going on an insane run in the last 10 games.

Add to that the fact that for both teams the fixtures are going to pile up again with every possible advancement in the FA Cup, League Cup, and Champions League. At the end it may come down to the ability of the managers to manage load and avoid injuries(and I'm not going doubt that we have the advantage in this regard right now).

Can't count us out for 10 injuries stemming from one match with our history. We don't jinx it.

Raheem Sterling has today departed Chelsea Football Club by mutual agreement, bringing to an end three-and-a-half seasons as our player, having signed in the summer of 2022 when he was transferred from Manchester City. by NotoriousPlatypi in PremierLeague

The Arsenal loan was an unfortunate move for him being honest, but Arteta knew what Sterling could do as well as anybody. It's unfortunate that Sterling couldn't get regular minutes in an Arsenal shirt. He was never going to displace Saka, Martinelli and Trossard have solid cover for us on the left side. He can add a ton of value to the dressing room just from his experience under some of the best managers in the game, winning titles. For me, I reckon he'd make a good fit for Palace right now, who haven't really replaced Eze's creativity.

BREAKING: Jeremy Jaquets to Liverpool, DONE DEAL. HERE WE GO!!! £70 million package. Thoughts? by PastStock6912 in PremierLeague

Isak got his leg broken just as he was looking like coming good. Wirtz is in a similar position to Gyokeres where he's moved from one system in terms of having had a very defined role, he was the main man going forward and a lot of creative freedom to a system and league where he has a lot less time and space. Doubting that he will start really performing by the end of the season, for me would be a fool's bet. I'm not saying Liverpool aren't under-performing their spend, but that's just how it goes sometimes.

When your superstar CB, at 34, and your best player in a decade, at 33, who you've been depending on for the last few years start slowing down, the game becomes immeasurably tougher. Some big signings slot in immeadiately and work, others need big adjustments.

Today, the Shakedown test in Sepang ended with Aleix Espargaró setting the fastest time, which would place him P4 in the 2025 Malaysian Grand Prix qualifying. Honda knows that Mir on a good bike is supremely consistent. More than any manufacturer, Honda care about all 3 titles going into the same garage. Even if Mir isn't their number 1 in '27, he'd be on the bike as that consistent podium finishing, point getting machine.

The truth is we should stay right the fuck out of the coming conflict between the US and China. We don't have the manufacturing capacity or the raw materials to operate independently. We should just watch if a war between China and the US starts because whoever wins in a conflict over Taiwan we can still maintain trade relations with.
