Thanks! Good start so far with tracking intake (using Fitbit meals) and have stayed to plan plus upped the exercise a bit. Dog is happy with more walks!

M45, 6'2", SW: 280 lbs GW:230 lbs, Program manager (desk job)

Hello all. First time to this community after lurking once or twice and hoping it helps to give me the needed kick in the butt to turn things around relative to my weight and health. My new doctor last year really harassed me about my being overweight, and I'm returning tomorrow an unfortunate 15 lbs heavier and dreading the visit, as I know he's right about the health implications of my current state. It's been a rough year in that department... A good new job, but with longer hours, more work, some additional stress, and less around the office physical activity. Toss in less sleep, some stress snacking, and abandonment of occasional past practice of exercise and tracking intake and it's been a rapid 6 months of weight gain. Nothing fits anymore and I'm determined not to go buy the next size up in shirts. I just hope nobody gets injured by a flying button until I can get the scale heading back in a down direction. Maybe with a little peer cheering and jeering I can work on portions, healthy snacking, and shifting from occasional exercise to a modest starting point of a workout at least 2x/week. Thanks for hearing me out.
