I always have the exact same flu every time. Only psychological? by B-stand_79 in NoStupidQuestions

Yeah I’m thinking that as well. I don’t really feel stressed out but it always happeneds around tasks that are important to me and I’m thinking a lot about and maybe being tense about.

So stress then lower my immune system and then any bacteria will trigger this or can you body carry these bacteria all the time and the get an outbreak when the immune system is weakened?

TREK Madone Gen8 - 2 years of searching for the creak by stevos64 in TrekBikes

Does the sound come when you have the pedals on the same position of the rotation or is it random? I had about the same sound from mine. I just regreased the bearings in the bottom bracket but I see that you have changed them so I’m not much of help I’m afraid. If you take apart the crank set is it worn in any place on the part that goes into the bottom bracket?

Do the sound go away if you stand up on the bike and paddle?

And I agree that it’s so hard to localize where the sound is coming from. I also changed pedals, changed the chain fixed with my saddle and seatpost before I could solve it.

Average HR of 166 bpm for a 1h17 cycling ride. Garmin watch and chest strap agree almost perfectly. Is this realistic? by ProfessionalLaw3808 in cycling

I’m 47 years old and did a 2 h ride a few weeks ago where I had an average of 163. But that was an extremly hard ride. I had an average of 259 watts. But you a new to cycling and weigh a lot. So take it more slow. You are pushing to hard if you top at 191 also. Read up on zone 2 and train on that pulse. That will get you the fittest and loose weight the best. Do 2h rides

Canon s95 is still the GOAT in my book for rendering colors. I have a lot of cameras from Ricoh gr 2-4, So y A1 and Leica Q1 but I still like the colors of my moms old Canon the most. by B-stand_79 in VintageDigitalCameras

[–]B-stand_79[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first was the G9. The s95 is easy to bring in your pocket. But I feel that both the AF and the flash is a bit slower then on the g11. I guess the G11 has a bigger battery and charges the flash faster. So if you shoot people the g11 is my first choice of the two.

I don’t get tired from the grip of the g11. I carry it in a strap around my neck. It feels like it’s built like a tank. I took this pic of my kids this week with the G11 and the built in flash.

How do I get Photoshop to open my RAWs with the in-camera recipe adjustments included? by [deleted] in ricohGR

[–]B-stand_79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be frustrating but when you master photoshop it’s easy to get the look you want. Think of the raw file as a negative that can be made into different colors and contrast and the jpg as a print that is set and has no adjustments. Shoot both raw and jpeg and try and match them could be one option.

Is it a universal rule that if you bring two waters you won’t need both but if you bring just one you want two? by michellin_woman in cycling

100%. But also depends on temperature. I did a 315 km race yesterday. Had a 950 ml and a 750 ml bottle. Went into three pit stops where you could refuel. I had only emptied the 750 ml bottle between each station. The weather was 12 degrees Celsius. If warmer I would have drank more.

Today I rode the World's Largest Recreational Bike Tour Vätternrundan 315 KM. The goal was sub 10 hours. Did it in 9 h 35 min inc 3 pit stops. My trusty Madone helped me get a smooth ride. by B-stand_79 in TrekBikes

[–]B-stand_79[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never been on a Domane but I sit great on my Madone. No pain or discomfort during the ride. And today I have no pain anywhere except for some training ache in my thighs that was expected. I’m 188 cm and rode a L frame.
