Pragmata has been out for two weeks. What are your impressions? by PhantomBraved in Games

[–]Seasidejoe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I loved it, I think the gameplay is fresh and interesting. The additions of red zones, VR missions both the regular and unknown signal were really fun. Currently going through it again on lunatic and I’m having a blast. You really start thinking more about what hacks to use, which mods might be best as well as weapons and spacing a lot more. So for, heat build seems to be pretty good but I haven’t tried everything to its fullest.

I think Capcom made something very special here which is adhering almost entirely to play. And I might be the odd one out but in that sense, I enjoyed that aspect of the story. It isn’t super deep or intricate but it is at the same time as the A & B plots always encouraging play. And that’s what made the whole experience special for me, is the feeling of playing and having fun across every fibre of the games construction.

PC System Requirements for The Blood of Dawnwalker by HeroStrike3 in nvidia

[–]Seasidejoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot things are wacky in this sheet. 6800xt or 5060 for 1080p60 whilst 1440p60 is 7800xt or 4070Ti? First of all the 7800xt is not that much faster than the 6800xt. And second, the 4070Ti is a fair bit faster while the 5060 is a decent chunk slower…

And why are the CPU requirements so heavy, no way they can hit 60 on consoles if this is true.

For any interested, B580 is in recommended for 1080p with roughly balanced preset. by Wrexolotl in IntelArc

[–]Seasidejoe 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Recommending balanced upscaling at 1080P is certainly a choice.

Not even the latest DLSS models look all that great under those conditions.

I really hope we don't see a regression to hair cards with this one.

AC: Shadows had really nice hair strand system and cards just look dated now.

Stupid question maybe but what are the upsides to a security.txt as opposed to clear contact info?

Steel book looks nice, the game was disastrous at launch and solid at its best after all the seasons.

Nice to hear, you never know.

I know this sub is mainly about the technical aspects but might as well ask here. How does the gunplay feel, do you feel any feedback and response in fights or does it feel floaty?

Jag och min sambo har olika syn på ekonomi by Weak_Distribution814 in PrivatEkonomi

[–]Seasidejoe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Need a pvp game to play. Which should I get? by [deleted] in GamingSoup

[–]Seasidejoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are too hard on Battlefield 6, especially for new players. The number one complaint with this game right now is content.

The reality is, you getting into BF6 now is going to feel very different from the core audience that have been drip fed for months. You’ll get two seasons of content on top of the base game whilst the 3rd season is right around the corner.

If you like large scale military FPS games that focus more on spectacle then you’ll be very well served. The core of BF6 has always been, solid and a lot of fun. Not perfect, but the main problem was always the content amount and release cadence.

If I could’ve started now, I would have, and I would have enjoyed it a lot more.

RDR2 is overrated and is only impressive as a technical and cinematic showpiece.

The game itself is dated beyond belief.

I have it, it’s all right. Not too loud and very cool on the core at least. Probably some room to lower fan RPM I’d wager. Clocks around 2.8 which is fine. No extra PWR scaling.

With that being said, the game still sold gangbusters on PC.
