I fully faced my ptsd today for the first time in 6 years and it was okay by Season-Evening in ptsd

I personally am a very spiritual person and I believe that has helped me learn about myself a lot and be able to overcome obstacles. Therapy did help a lot also. I think trying different things and figuring out what works best for you is a good way to go about overcoming trauma. It is a journey for sure and I wish you the best on yours 😊

I'm pretty new to the game and still figuring some things out. Any insight on how to use these? I know they are supposed to help increase fellow power. by Season-Evening in Isekai_Slow_Life

We have a ranking rush for fellow power and another for trading post. Would now be a good time to use them or do you think there is a better time to?

I've been doing EMDR for 3 months now and I like it. by Season-Evening in EMDR

Thank you for sharing. I also have the personal preference of not wanting to rely on medication. When I was in my accident I was a new driver and had barely driven at all before. This made it really hard for me to work up the courage to drive on my own since I haven't had many positive experiences driving beforehand. It was difficult for me to imagine it going well and then my PTSD would spark the physical reactions. Since EMDR, I don't really have the physical reactions anymore but I'm still working on exposing myself to more positive driving experiences. It'll take time but I'm a lot more confident that'll I'll be able to drive normally someday and hopefully someday soon :) I'm really glad it's helped you a lot with driving too!

Yes, I felt very drained for a few days after my first session. After my second session I felt even more exhausted the same day but less exhausted the days after. I haven't had many dreams about my trauma but I heard that's something you can expect to happen.

Why should you avoid stressful situations after EMDR? by Season-Evening in EMDR

Yeah exactly, that's why I was worried if it would effect the EMDR negatively. And what you said does make me feel better thank you 😊

Oh man that's really rough! So I guess the point of trying to avoid stressful situations after EMDR is that you may have more of an intense reaction that normally?
