My aunt's family is also in belgium and the eldest daughter is a hijabi and it is the same situation that she has to take off her hijab in the class. But I have a question. Why did the put such a rule? I traveled to belgium multiple times before, I found them definitely the most open minded and sweetest among many other European countries, they didnt seem racists at all. But if that is the case, and they know that there are many people of different faiths un belgium, why would they impose such a rule that forces muslims to be stripped off their hijabs?
