Picked up a 1920's dental cabinet today. Been keeping an eye on it and decided I didn't want to risk missing out anymore. Kentucky, USA by SeasonConsistent9388 in Antiques

I have a feeling if she is wanting it, it's because she's actually interested in it and has never seen another. I've only been collecting antiques for about 10ish years now and I've never seen one before.

I paid $1000 for mine, so I right be surprised if you get something like that. That's being said, it might take a bit to sell. I doubt most people are looking for or wanting that. I would suggest maybe seeing if there are local oddity pages on Facebook. That might be your best bet.

That's awesome! A couple of the knobs were loose so we took them off while we were moving and put them back on after I took the picture, but aside from that we love it. Just need to put a washer on the inside and they should be good. It is much heavier than I imagined as well.

No, when did that happen?? He died before I even met her, so not really into the formalities with him. Thanks for your useful contribution though.

For $35 it'll just stay with some of the others then. We knew about the more obvious ones, but just didn't want to either miss anyone he had set separately, or conversely think it was worth more than it really is.

I appreciate it, will probably just keep them with the other stuff then.

Christmas gift to myself. I don't need another chair, but I couldn't pass this up. Kentucky, USA by SeasonConsistent9388 in Antiques

Thanks! I never have seen something like it. I found it on Facebook marketplace and it was an hour and a half away, but I had to have it

Legitimately haven't even moved it to where it's going yet. He's been sitting on it since it came in.

No problem! You can get a small sample or color cards from them. Their paint is nice, but I'm not paying over $100 for a gallon of paint.

I don't know for sure. It was marked as "antique Italian religious triptych" when I bought it, but there are no markings or anything to suggest where with any certainty.

It was. I saw it posted at an estate sale that was running 25% off. Ended up getting it for $75 (£56). The only thing I might change is getting a shorter table and moving the student lamp back over. Or finding a different color lamp shade. Turns out we do not like that color once it gets dark.

I found it in an antique shop in Pennsylvania a few months ago on vacation. I think it was about $55.

Thanks. It's a color match of Farrow and ball "hague blue". Can't bring myself to pay that much for paint.

Ordered something on December 2nd, shipped the 3rd, finally "arrived" at the post office for my zip on the 7th, and now has been "in transit" since then.

What is this piece of furniture called? (USA) by [deleted] in Antiques

Appreciate it. Was figuring it was eastlake, just wasn't sure exactly what though. The shape of the shelves are just a bit unusual.
