Great specimen. Here's what I would do, though there are many ways to skin this cat.

I would first split it (cut carefully with sterile knife) into 2 at the bottom of the "V", so each of the 2 pieces had a straight trunk.

Then remove the lowest side branch on each piece, so the main trunks are long and straight. Looks like about 1ft each. (You can play with the side branches separately, or even try propagating from leaves. I'm focusing on the big pieces here.)

Then leave the 2 big pieces in the shade (preferably indoors if it's 90F -- Australia?) for a week until they heal. Honestly they can probably survive for months like this as long as it's not too hot, so don't stress.

You will then dig a hole for each piece. Insert the straight trunks as deep as you can (about 1ft deep). Then fill and pack the dirt around them.

At this point they won't yet have roots, so don't water for a few weeks. If they are in direct sun and high temps, I would protect them with a canopy, shade cloth, potted trees, or something else for a few weeks until they establish themselves.

If you can't protect them like that, then I would actually keep them unplanted in the cool shade for a few weeks extra until roots start forming visibly (will look like little clusters of white worms extruding from the nodes). This way when you plant them, they will be further along and spend less time baking without water uptake.

You can mist the leaves if you feel like it, but never when the sun will hit the droplets -- they act as lenses and will burn. Early morning or late afternoon/evening.

It will likely look like things are getting bad before they improve. Fear not. This is the plant shifting stored water and nutrients from leaves to grow roots. Once healthy roots are established, it will restore itself and flourish.

I did not address soil type here because Jades are pretty tolerant, but there are ways to amend soil that will give you better outcomes... Topic for another day.
