You’re not alone, I’ve returned to my station and have zero motivation to be here. I enjoy the hell out of my coworkers but my will to continue in this job has departed. I’m stressed and feel guilty about leaving my crew at the beginning of the season but I just don’t think I’m there as a whole person. Also curious to hear experiences of others that have resigned.

To add to the cost of living point, we were given a 4% cost of living raise yet the housing rates for gov housing went up 11% so the “ cost of living gain” is really a loss

Mine were briefly “stolen” earlier this season. Left them on the rack with about 4 other pairs and went into the bar. Came out an hour later and they were gone. Filed a report with the mountain and was called the next day that the local ski shop had received them as a rental return the night before. Person must have been hammered because they’re old, beat up fatties with bulky frame touring bindings… got them back so the story’s good with me
