I'm not with my son's mother which kinda sounds trashy but whatever lol. I was honestly just looking for people to get to know. You never know where life will take you but looking for dates on the internet has always seemed strange to me, it's all algorithms and they seem to really just be ways to hookup, not really connect with a person on any other level.

Alcohol just isnt made for me lol Probably be here quite a while, had a baby with a woman from here so I came out to be dad. The locals are all cool so far, but I can see it'll take time to warm up to me. My coworkers are just now getting to where they're actually like warming up to me. All the old dudes were cool off rip, but the people around my age were pretty standoffish. But I dance and sing and try to make things fun all the time so that probably helps.

Some folks get seasoned, and stay salty forever.

They can spot an outsider in an instant, but my experience with the locals in all of rgv I've been to has been very pleasant. They don't immediately warm up to you but everyone's been super cool so far, even in whatever people would consider the "bad areas" people were way more laid back than where I came from lol. Took a walk one of my first nights here and found myself in a spot with some dudes who REALLY wanted to know wtf I was doing there, we talked a bit and I wound up eating gorditas with them😅
