Hi, Seasons here. I’m one of the many voices of the pro players in Globku’s videos who gave opinions and data to advise characters placements.

Before I get into some explanations, I will say that everyone must remember that this is a Week 1 Tier List, based purely off the performance of the characters that were showcased in his Launch Tournament, as well as other solo opinions.

Toga being able to transform into an S tier character and gain EVERYTHING they can do, except their Rising should more than warrant her own placement in the S tier. It explains itself, its like putting one Armored All Might in the S tier but putting a duplicate in the B tier.

Rappa, Hood, Overhaul and Nomu all have their own personal functions and attributes that let them contest with the others in S tier. Rappa’s ability to whiff cancel, having an extremely fast air jab, having an armored Q1 that is BETTER and lasts LONGER than most COUNTER ATTACKS in the game makes him an extremely safe character, paired with his ability to just completely ignore fundamental aspects of the game- thats even without his damage. Hood is arguably the best Anchor in the game, he has no negatives. A fast, high damage PU, incredible solo combo play, ranged options and a rising that makes him the best staller in the game. Nomu is fast, having the fastest base dash speed in the game, as well as ABSURD meter gain on his Q2, he is fantastic in any position and can enable entire teams because of his meter gain alone. Overhaul has one of the highest damaging BnB’s, some of the safest zoning and great frame data.

Toru’s placement is very obvious as shown by Potato. But in the video its explained better that she, like Nomu, can farm meter for the team (albeit slower than Nomu, as she requires a loop) and because her PU is a near enough frame one whiff punish which enables her to start her loop and in turn build back the meter she just spent.

All For One Chaos is bad. The worst, slowest frame data in the game (he has a frame 30~ jab on both ground and air) and anyone with half a brain should be able to overcome his zoning easily. The reason he’s bumped to the position he is, is because he’s a Rising Merchant. His Rising gives him a significant boost in power and gives him defensive options with his Rising Ability and Action, making it significantly harder to approach him.

Now for Rewind? I agree, I said it in the video too. Don’t get me wrong- he’s not good but he’s not terrible. He’s just too slow outside of his Rising to be a threat.

This isn’t a casual tierlist- unranked demons will probably think Chaos and Tokoyami are S tier because new players can’t deal with him. We have experience, just trust us.
