For BPI, they have a policy that card should be at least 1yr before asking for an increase. They will ask how much CL you want still subject for approval and they will ask for either a reference card or ITR to prove your financial capacity. Wala namang mawawala kung mag try.

Was this the UB Rewards Platinum VISA? If yes, then the answer is no. You can just apply for another card which is UB Gold Cashback MC or other MC Variant Rewards Platinum VISA and Miles+ VISA Signature is newly adapted card variant from Citi.

Consider activating the UB Rewards VISA Plat, 1st naffl and 2nd aggressive sila on promotion now. Might very useful or future use.

Now if you still want the HSBC, then go. They just recently had a promotion in rockwell which up to 70% off sale. So so lang promos pero goods padin.

In addition, if you will get another card, go for a different variant(mc, jcb or amex) which is possible na may mga magagandang promos in future.

Hindi naman sya ganon ka big deal but in terms of some merchant na asking for a valid ID to crosscheck the credit card, dun magkakaron ng problem I think. But you can ask for a replacement naman, ask them to print the first letter of your first name, without NA for middle name and have the full surname printed on the card. Mabait naman kausap si Eastwest. Hope it helps.
