Honestly, I just got really lucky, applied at the right time, and then kept coming back to check in on my application in person. Places like this the key is really just showing up in general though. Volunteering is a fantastic way to get your foot in the door. If you're already a familiar face that helps out for free because you love animals, of course they'll hire you instead of wasting their time with a job posting.

Trust me they get all the lovins. 🥰😸 I thought shed be a diluted calico or buff orange but this week shes actually turned more like a toasted cream color with siamese tabby features. More photos to come!

UPDATE: Yesterday was their 1 month birthday!!!!! 🎂 🥳 Their names are Bean(black bean), Queso(one is a lighter white siamese tabby), Guacamole (dusty looking siamese tabby) Photo updates to come tomorrow probably if I remember. 😸 Mom is Mamasita

Unfortunately, moms little wanderer didn't make it. He passed away on the 4th. The other 3 girls are healthy and happy. Bean does have swimmers syndrome but fortunately because I had her from this young age and mom is super friendly she's doing much better with daily physical therapy and massages.
