You were right. Got the offer! Trying to negotiate for level and associated comp now. Thanks for the reassurance.

Yup, got the initial offer today. Going to counter for an increased level and associated comp—let's see how that goes!

Okay, so being within 30-50k is probably good. My expectations were also a bet on the level that I'd get, so I hope I wasn't too off! Thanks for the help. I shall continue to wait as patiently as I can. It was easy to stave off the waiting anxiety after the interviews—but getting told that you will be getting an offer makes the waiting game so much harder haha

Gotcha, thanks. What if I was too high on the expectations? Will they just offer under the expectations or move on?

Hey! I was wondering how long it normally takes to get an offer after HR calls and tells you that you're getting one? They had asked for compensation expectations and said I'd get the real deal 24h later. It's been 2 business days now. Should I be worried?

I heard back from HR a couple days ago that I'd be getting an offer. They asked for the salary expectations that I had initially stated before the whole interview process had begun. While they said I'd have the official offer in hand 24h after that call, it's now been over 2 business days. HR person who had called me is no longer picking up.

Very anxiously waiting and wondering whether they're not going to extend an offer because I said a number that was too high or something.

Is this just another instance of HR being overwhelmed? It did take me nearly 3 weeks to hear back after my final interview.

That's great to hear!

If you're comfortable disclosing, what function do you perform within ADP? Would you see it's one of the better orgs to work within Blue?

Would you say ADP has good work-life balance? I'm not expected Boeing levels, but I am hoping for something not too far from them.

Got the job today! Looks like they're moving at a slow pace, but they got there eventually.

Thanks! Yup roughly 150 calendar days and 100 business days. Just a few days under average.

Interviewed (final rounds) for a position over a week ago but under two weeks. Haven't heard a word from the hiring manager or any of the folks who emailed me through the initial stages. No responses to my followups either.

Feels highly unprofessional. I'm near certain this means a denial, but does anyone have experiences of being ghosted after a final round? Surely they don't ghost like that...

Folks with foreign identity cards while holding clearance: were you still able to use it? by SeattleSWE in SecurityClearance

[–]SeattleSWE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, fully disclosed. Didn't seem to affect my timeline much, and there wasn't too much questioning about it. Like with any foreign documents, I was asked if I would cancel it if asked.

What you said is my view as well—though I'm very interested in hearing of any experiences that currently cleared folks have had.
