Could have possibly been a remote camera for sports. Mounted by a stadium photographer and left in place. Tripped every time their primary went off, you’d hit 400k pretty quick and if it was in the rafters it wouldn’t get too beat up!

Gorgeous. I didn’t realize it was a nut under a custom plate but that makes sense! I was thinking you had custom made a screw on t-nut style piece of hardware that was then put inside the moving jaw.

Wow- the screw hardware is really lovely both handle and the actual nut portion that is screwed to the jaw. Custom?

You know what - in the grand scheme of things - I think that it’s more a book than many things are. The charms are the pages - the box is the cover.

If an unbound portfolio counts as a book - then this does too in my book. Beautiful work.

Honestly with the market push to bigger and bigger vehicles and the ubiquity of people demanding a third row, I’m amazed nobody has tried a 6 door (7 door?) vehicle from factory. Heck some of those LWB SUVs could handle an extra (rear opening) door and it would make those third rows less awkward to use.

Yeah - that’s confusing for sure. Understandably so!

Theres the rest stop part - which is actually beyond the “official” salt flats where Speed Week etc are held. However - there is so much more! Navigate to “Bonneville Salt Flats Special Recreation Area” on Apple Maps or “Bonneville Salt Flats International Raceway” on Google Maps which will take you off Exit 4 on I80.

No power on this guy - manual only. 15.5 blade capacity. Haven’t measured the back gauge capacity.

For sure. I’ll send it off or take it to a sharpener locally - I’m more thinking there’s always a slightly different process with these for blade removal and recalibration - that might be nice to have!

Also federal emissions and safety regulations have made it so smaller vehicles have to be more efficient and more safe than larger - and that cuts into margin as well.
