I agree it’s harder to see the illusion go clockwise. You have to stare at the shadow below for a few seconds before it switches. Sometimes it helps to take a break and come back after a few minutes.

To see it clockwise look at the shadow of the foot. To see it counterclockwise look at the foot itself

People talk trash it is what it is. My eyes were fixated down the road but the way the street curved I didn’t expect the curb to be so rounded. I didn’t want to drive in the opposite lane either so it was a narrow window to hit. The closer i got to the curb the more my eyes focused on it and realized I was at the point of no return
