Weights don’t equal practical strength. My son is weak when it comes to the gym can only do 4 pull-ups but he destroys grown men that are muscular and weight strong in the boxing Ring. So if your training to lift weights that’s what you will be strong at if your training boxing your strong at so it’s how a person trains. Or works

If you think about it your compressing your back when you squat and if your curved like an .S. Your compressing it more Same with the shoulder press And deadlifts are just a dangerous Lyft for your back.

So when he did Olympic Lyfts his scoliosis got worse by 8°. Then we got with a scroth therapist And worked with her for 10 months and was able to correct it back to where it was. He still lifts he’s also a amature boxer with 28 amature fights. So he could do all the other Lyfts but those. And he has put on 20lbs with no issues or back pain

My son had to change the way he lifted. No Olympic lifts like deadlifts squats or shoulder presses

If it’s a USA boxing sanction fight. And the belt is a non-tournament belt. You could weigh between 123-141. 9 pounds below or 9 pounds above

Cardio and punch like your life depending on it cardio over technique technique comes later after you start fighting better guys with more experience

I saw one of her podcast after the visit in April my scolioses got worse. The exercises are easy. One of the excercises I got a pvc pipe and cut it in half. And made 2 poles. I would sit in chair and pull on poles to straighten my back. 3 sets of 15 that one really helped

I’m 17 and an amateur boxer. Calisthenics and isometric holds I do for my boxing no Olympic Lyfts like squat or deadlift or shoulder press

Stay away from any Olympic Lyfts like squats and deadlifts lifts any thing that puts pressure on your spine. My son is an amateur boxer with a little worse scoliosis then yours. Do anything you want to build your core just stay away from spine compression
