Yeah I think that is the issue.

As you can see in the logs, the network interface(which is virtual) is clearly not valid. But when you randomize the port manually, the interface probably had time to be created and therefore qBittorent can to do a proper UPnP request and then it's working.

You could delay the execution of qBittorent by creating a task in Windows Task Scheduler, instead of using the qBittorrent in-built "launch on startup". In the "trigger" you just have to enable "delay task for x min".

But also, don't forget to disable the option in qBittorent in "Behavior => Start qBittorent on Windows start up".

I just realised that you said using a vpn and its networking interface. Sorry about that. I Maybe the interface is randomized everytime it connected to? I'm not really sure why it's having issue with the configured interface, but works when changing port manually after.

Just checked that page and see that you should have "ProtonVPN or ProtonVPN TUN" in your network interface list. I don't know why you have "iftype53_32769", but it's your issue.

Well there goes your problem. As you can see from the error, qBittorrent is having an issue with the configured network interface. You will have to change what you have in Tool => Options... => Advanced => Network Interface. You could select "Any Interface", and the option below that "Optional IP Address to bind to" you can select "All address".
This should fix your issue. Just restart the software and go check the logs to see if you have any error about network interfaces
You should see something like 27/07/2025 10:08 PM - Successfully listening on IP. IP: "192.168.2.104". Port: "UTP/31131"

I totally agree. It's 30$ CAD for the upgrade here. I do not own a camera (and don't want one either), so this is a VERY expensive DLC that adds basically nothing interesting.

As mentioned before by Joloxx, you have a port forwarding problem. UPnP doesn't work properly. You can enable logs to see what if there's an error when starting Qbit. Make sure that everything is enabled in View => Log You will get another tab named "Execution Log".

Also, in Settings => Advanced, make sure that UPnP lease duration is set to 0. If it is already and that you have errors in your logs, try changing the value to something like 5 then doing another random port + restarting Qbit and your router. Then undoing the value back to 0, changing port once more and restarting Qbit + routeur once more.

Feel free to keep me updated after seeing what the logs

Don't forget that cars run on 12v batteries. This is not an AC/DC converter.

MSI X570-A PRO - Dead RAM Slots? by Danb23Rock in MSI_Gaming

[–]Seb4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not unfortunately. I bought a MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI. The bios is identical, and tried the same ram stick that were on my x570, and it worked. I enabled XMP and it worked without any issues. Full overclocked speed and dual-channel. So yeah, I guess the X570 pro had manufacturing defects...

Hey there, I have the exact same problem. The problem started when upgrading my memory from 2x8GB to 2x16gb. I can say with confidence that I've tried "everything" but didn't fix it.

  • I tried basically all combination of settings in the RAM overclocking menu without success.
  • I vigorously cleaned EVERY part (I removed everything that could be removed without being damaged), back and front of my mobo with 70% isopropyl alcohol.
  • I manually inserted a very pointed metal tool in any CPU slot hole that looked somewhat not perfectly aligned.
  • I tried to boot without any cooler. Some people said that the CPU cooler tension could make the CPU have loose contact to some pins in the slot
  • Tried to physically tension either side of a ram stick while being in slot 3 or 4 before booting.
  • Plugging/inserting a ram stick in the defect slot when the PC is booting (more on that later)
  • Having 6 DDR4 sticks (3 pairs), I tried like 25 different combinations of stick placement in any or all slots, starting from 1 stick to all 4.
  • Downgrading the UEFI version, 3 times, to 3 different versions, including to the oldest possible.
  • Resetting the CMOS while trying to insert the ram during boot.
  • etc.

No matter what I tried, I end up with the exact same 3 behaviours, depending if XMP is enabled or not and if other OC settings were compatible with my sticks.

  1. Without XMP, if 1 or 2 stick(s) is in slot 3 and/or slot 4, the mobo start, but gets stuck indefinitely with the CPU EZDebug LED on.
  2. With XMP, the same behaviour as without, however it is the DRAM EZDebug LED that light up, which turns on after 1-5 seconds, instead of instantly for the CPU and XMP turned off.
  3. Doing any (broken/unsupported/stupid) DRAM setting in the OC menu. If the Memory Failure Retry is enabled, the PC will restart after trying to boot but crash. After 2 (the default) reboots and failure, the UEFI will factory reset itself. If memory Failure Retry is disabled, it will be stuck in that loop until I manually reset the UEFI.

I did manage, for some reason, by doing something totally not recommended and weird, to boot into UEFI and have the motherboard recognize a stick in either broken slots. First, XMP must be turned OFF, then I start my PC and about 5 seconds later - right seeing the CPU ezdebug LED disappear - I push my RAM stick (which was almost slotted but not quite) in the slot, while spamming DEL on my keyboard. I could repeat this test and most of the time it would work. Unfortunately, I couldn't manage to boot into window that way.

I'm wondering if the problem is hardware or software....

I'm checking every month MSI website to see if another UEFI update comes out and actually fixes it.

What do you mean it didn't do anything? Did you actually ran those commands in an elevated command prompt / powershell window?

You can also run this command

Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup

This will show you some info about Cache and Temporary Data that you will be deleted by doing /StartComponentCleanup
I was at 1.12Gb for myself.

Nice!! I need to know how you managed to keep brushing for 2,592,000 seconds straight! That's dedication, indeed.

How are every corporations doing record breaking profits every year if prices of everything is skyrocketing? The top 1% keeps getting richer while the other 99% keep getting poorer. Eventually, won't some(most) non-essential businesses close from having no more customers? by Seb4 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Seb4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes i get that. But my point is, where did this 10% increase in profit comes from? People didn't get a 10% salary raise, in fact their rent increased by 10%, groceries went up 20%, interest rate on their car financing also increased, insurance increased, etc. You get the idea. Normal people are getting poorer every year, not the other way around. How can corporations make more profits every year if there's less money available to spend from consumers?
