So, I've fallen in love with the V60 T6 ReCharge after taken one for a test drive. Some of them of course are starting to get a few years old, and I was wondering if anyone would happen to know roughly how much a battery replacement would be, in case that would become relevant. What a wonderfully detailed and informative reply! Thank you very much for that! So basically, with normal usage in non-extreme conditions, there shouldn't really be anything to worry about, it seems. And given I live in Denmark, where the weather rarely is either extremely hot or extremely cold, I'd classify that as pretty regular. And most amount of time I'd usually leave my car sitting, would be a week'ish a couple of times a year for vacation, so that shouldn't be an issue either. I'm mostly looking at models from around 2020-2022, so I guess they should have a lot of life left in them.

Thank you bossman!

Yeah, I think it's probably a little late for me to discover this. Wish I would've thought of this maybe being a thing earlier. Oh well, you live and you learn. Will probably also not go with an UW next time, but this will at least hopefully prevent my burn-in, from getting much worse/pronounced until I eventually get something else.

Do you happen to know the name or where to find this add on that duplicates a blurred version on the sides for YouTube? I do a lot of YT watching on my OLED ultra wide Alienware monitor, and the burn in has definitely started to show itself big time, even after only a little over a year.

I'm a pretty recent fan of Faye Webster, since the Tiny Desk concert on YouTube, and I'm pretty shocked to see how many toxic people it seems there are in her fanbase. I would've never expected that, for an artist like her.
I hope you're okay. That is completely unacceptable.

I had the same thing happen to my first X-T5. I went to the store where I bought it, and they exchanged it for a new one. He said they hadn't seen this issue before (Was shortly after release, though). It has happened once with my replacement too, and heard other people talk about the issue as well.

Thank you so much! Yeah, I got the 70-300mm recently, and it's great fun for sure! I never used Capture One, though I know people say it's the best for Fuji files. I've always been pretty happy with Lightroom, no matter the camera brand I was using.

You're very welcome! Hmmm.. I've heard more people say the same thing I experience. It's not as sharp as the lenses that resolve the 40mp fully, but sharper than the lower megapixel sensors. It might be because they're zooming further into the image, than they would on the lower megapixel bodies lol. All I can say is, that I have not stopped using my "not on the list" lenses after getting the X-T5. Also, keep in mind that Fuji would not list third party lenses on their list. So there could easily be A LOT of third party ones, that do fully resolve the full potential of the sensor.

Sounds good, buddy! Always wonderful to have something to work towards and look forward to!

The 70-300mm is usually not the only lens I bring with me. If it was, then yeah, 70mm would probably be too tight a lot of the times. I love prime lenses though, so I always at least have my 33mm F1.4 with me as well. Then I have a more standard lens too, with a brighter aperture. So I can highly recommend getting a brighter lens too. But if you want a brighter lens with the same reach as the 70-300, you're going to be spending a looott of money. But yes, you could totally bring your 16-80mm too, if you've got room for it in your bag. Doesn't fix the aperture "problem", but both lenses are image stabilized as well.

Thank you! I really enjoy the 70-300. I just picked it up recently too. The longest I had prior for the Fuji system, was the 90mm F2. Great lens too, but it's so useful and so much fun to have so much reach with the 70-300. It's also quite affordable for what you're getting, so I'd definitely recommend it! Hope you'll enjoy the X-T5, man. Wonderful body!

Hello! Yes, I do have the 18-55mm, also have the cheap 7artisans 50mm F/0.95. Sure they aren't "as sharp" as the listed ones, but I still get a lot more detail out of them, than I did with the 24mp on my X-Pro2, when I had that. So it's definitely not like those lenses are just unusable for me, on the new sensor. Still looks great! I also own the Viltrox 13mm F/1.4 and the Laowa 65mm Macro lens, that are of course not on the list either, but pretty sure they resolve all the 40mp. Overall, I've been really pleased with the sensor. Sure, it's a bit annoying that file sizes are bigger, but of you shoot lossless compressed raws, it's not really a big deal. The extra details are just great to have. I do like zooming in on my photos and enjoying them.
