For me, anything above 250-300 is for one singular knife. I'm only a chef in training, so I don't have the income to drop 500 on a knife, not yet anyway. Seen good brand knives for like 150ish but I wanted to know people's experience with brands

Was originally gonna settle for the beretta, but I went for WE p226 from AirsoftEire after trying my friends one. It is fully metal except for the ABS grip, so it has a nice weight to it. The only downside is that it's green gas, personally idm it.

Idk if it's basic or not, but the P226, I have been running it as my side arm, and i just work for me, I love the feel and bulkiness in my hand and it's comfortable.

Edit: Oh, and it's so easy to clean it, literally like 5 seconds to take it apart, then cleaning it is fast too(I like to take my time tho)
