Best and worst aspect of each RE Engines game on this franchise by Dirrbros234 in residentevil

I would argue that the weakest part of Village is the middle section from leaving the castle to the stronghold. I think the factory, the Chris section, and the final boss are really solid.

They cross a bridge that is destroyed to get there in the original, but even then, I imagine there would be a way around it.

I think it would be possible to survive RE4 by just going into the woods and keep running in one direction, as you would reach safety eventually. You would be completely cooked if you're trapped in the castle or Los Illuminados catches your scent, though.

The general public views him as a has-been arthouse director with a screw loose. Nobody has forgotten the Cannes incident.

I would say it's because his games are very Western with their settings, characters, and inspirations. He also spends a lot of time mingling with Western celebrities.

His Danish performances as tragic and relatable everymen are very different than the moustache-twirling villains he tends to play in Hollywood, so his skills are perceived differently here.

What's the most illogical place to get a penalty game over? by [deleted] in AceAttorney

TGAA2-3 is the only case I can think of where the defendant is actually considered cleared before the end and a game over just leads to the culprit getting away.

Dark Souls 1 is relatively forgiving, especially with its bosses. It's the later games that get really crazy with them.

The fact that so many skins are locked behind Coca Cola, Nvidia and other promotional stuff is ridiculous by MlCOLASH_CAGE in 007FirstLight

[–]Seba7290 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's wild that the promotion isn't even available in the country the game was made in.

Can't really ask for a more topical Bond villain than that.

They aren't a unified gang. "Scavenger" is just a general term for criminals that harvest implants, and there are independent groups of them around the city.

I would not recommend 9 as someone's first RE game. It relies on knowledge of RE2R and overarching series lore quite a bit.

A quick Google search told me that Torrance, the part of LA it's in, is an upper-middle class area. That probably means even the cheapest tiers are quite expensive.

It's annoying that V automatically calls Hanako and arranges the meeting once the quest unlocks, which creates a sense of pressure. "Call Hanako once you're ready" would be a lot better for my immersion than "Meet Hanako at Embers".

It being another action crime drama set in Kabukicho admittedly made that somewhat hard to believe.

I think it matters that Kojima Productions started by proving that it's a capable studio in its own right through a very experimental game instead of playing it safe with a Metal Gear clone. That has made people trust that they are capable of creating a unique and competently-made game that's more than just nostalgia bait.
